49 is winning and 42 is losing. Good

As much as the public loves to see an under-dog prevail, people would rather watch two heavy-weights duke it out. Super 49 is as close as you get to a boxing match in the NFL - and man, was it fun to watch :D

KGYM Sports Radio

The first quarter showcased defensive prowess for each team. The second period demonstrated rounds three through eight of a boxing match with jab countered by hook, with an occasional upper-cut. The third quarter, a defending champ pulling away as many might have expected. The fourth? One of the best orchestrated comebacks by a great quarterback and a perceived boneheaded play resulting in the legend of Belichick/Brady being furthered. What a game.

I still haven't stopped watching that game, and I love re-living that moment when Butler made the Immaculate Interception. Man, what a game.

SB 42 was truly a nightmare. Thank god Patriots fans can finally let go of those memories.
of David Tyree and his kryptonite Giants. Thank goodness indeed, because in 2015 the Patriots earned a second chance to prove themselves in Glendale AZ...and this time, they reminded the whole world why Brady and the Pats are the best!

To watch Brady dismantle one of the greatest defenses ever seen in the NFL, witness the biggest fourth-quarter comeback in Super Bowl history, and to experience the feeling of elation after Malcolm Butler makes the play of a lifetime ......it doesn't get any better than that. That's what I call redemption...sweet redemption!
Most painful SB I've ever watched. I thought I was go ing to relive it this year

LOL, It's official. Super Bowl 42 has been eliminated from the brackets. Now it's a match up between SB XLIX and SB XIII. Do your thing Patriot Nation. VOTE

I swear I read "Funniest Game of All Time - Poll @ NFL.com". I was completely expecting the Butt Fumble thrashing to be way up there. (Must be time for bed)

Superbowl XXXVI was the best IMO, just don't ask Marshall Faulk or anyone else outside of NE about it. The hate and jealousy is thick and palpable.

No way I can be an impartial judge - the Butler interception is a top-5 happy moment in my life. (Though don't tell my wife that!)

I taped them all; Inside the NFL, Turning Point n Sound FX. They're all NGL films but my own opinion, turning point is the best. All three though have great background music. It's that NFL/Sabol production

I don't get this...I watched the highlights and also read about Super Bowl XXXIII, Steelers-Cowboys. A game that was 35-17 in the fourth quarter before a late TD made it 35-31 with seconds remaining, and Steelers players already celebrating victory with seven minutes left. How is this an all-time great game?

I know man. WTF????? My guess is Seahawk fans are behind this LOL

If we lost this game this year I would go as far as to say that this one would've been more painful. That Seattle TD drive that ended the half still makes me cringe thinking about it..

The whole city of Boston was placed on suicide watch after Kearse caught that ball :-(

SB 42 (Gintz) game was the most crushing depressing game (and ending) in my SB watching career. Honestly, had Seattle won it, I'd have been depressed but not like 2007-8. Absolutely worst. Game. Evah.

Oh, jeez....I openly admit that it was the most exciting moment in my entire life every day, and we're only 3.5 years into a new marriage!

Yes, those who claim the headlines around the country would've been "Kearsed again" are 100 percent correct.

It would have been a nightmare of epic proportions.

I think it'd be difficult to take over the #1 worst defeat spot that occurred in SB42.

That said, SB46 only added to it, and if SB49 would have followed suit it may have had a chance considering that it would have been 3 in a row, + 3 in the past 7 seasons. Either way, it would have been terribly, terribly painful to deal with.

Thank God it turned out differently. It will forever be my "happy place" from now on.

I end my prayers in "thank you Malcolm" every night to this day.

It's 50-50 tight - this might very well turn into the next 2000 Presidential Election. If we lose this one, I will demand a recount, and take my case all the way to the football supreme court.

Mark my words!
