http://www.breitbart.com/national-s...ple-much-happier-than-others-new-study-shows/

The study found that people who attend religious services on a weekly basis are nearly twice as likely to describe themselves as “very happy” (45%) than people who never attend (28%). Conversely, those who never worship are twice as likely to say they are “very unhappy” (4%) as those who attend services weekly (2%).
The study indicated that not only religious service attendance, but self-reported “religiosity” and religious “affiliation” are also linked with happiness levels. Yet of the three indicators, service attendance has the highest correlation to increased happiness. The study showed that higher levels of church attendance “predict higher life satisfaction,” even after accounting for how important religious faith is in people’s lives.

I have a very funny friend Ed who has a plethora of funny one liners he uses continuously. They're still funny because of his timing. He has two religious ones that come to mind with this theme. The first is I used to be F'd up on drugs but now I'm F'd up on JEEEEEEESuzzzzzz. The second is the meek ain't going to inherit sh!t and if they do we'll take it from them. There's definitely a placebo high associated with god that will get the person on the lowest cycle of luck feeling good.

All that said I would absolutely love to go to a black southern Baptist church where everybody is singing and screaming hallelujahs. I bet I'd leave there feeling right as rain.

Liberals do not go to church?? Interesting point..

liberals are absolutely miserable.......just not sure religion has anything to do with it

religion is more like a drug......it's an -ism much like alcoholism.....nonsense to numb you from reality

odd ...
Conservatives report, but liberals display, greater happiness

Research suggesting that political conservatives are happier than political liberals has relied exclusively on self-report measures of subjective well-being. We show that this finding is fully mediated by conservatives’ self-enhancing style of self-report (study 1; N = 1433) and then describe three studies drawing from “big data” sources to assess liberal-conservative differences in happiness-related behavior (studies 2 to 4; N = 4936). Relative to conservatives, liberals more frequently used positive emotional language in their speech and smiled more intensely and genuinely in photographs. Our results were consistent across large samples of online survey takers, U.S. politicians, Twitter users, and LinkedIn users. Our findings illustrate the nuanced relationship between political ideology, self-enhancement, and happiness and illuminate the contradictory ways that happiness differences can manifest across behavior and self-reports.

and yet, your clan was duped by the previous, and y'all still faked your way through with a smile ; further supporting my link.

what do you mean 'my clan'?

I don't have a clan, and I was not duped by anyone........the truly idiotic part is the assumption that obama was actually any different.......'change'....'the audacity of hope' .... you bought that **** hook line and sinker

you've just been pissed ever since you've felt duped by the current administration

It's like the lemon of a car someone buys but can't admit it out of embarrassment and just hides all the repair bills
