Florio: Jets File Tampering charges AGAINST Pats

As the Outside the Lines article noted, it was Kensil who apparently decided to personally intervene and head down to check the PSI of the game balls at halftime during the AFC Championship. That Kensil (and not the referees themselves) would check the status of the footballs is somewhat peculiar."

There is nothing somewhat peculiar about it.

This was an unbridled, reckless, un-sanctioned conspiracy without any governance or consideration to catch a team in the act in committing wrong-doing that was never formally accused.

Did he wire-tap BB's phones without getting a court order as well or cite the Patriot Act?

Watch the NFL say we will swap 1sts with the Jets on April 1st.
Won't happen but that wouldn't be a bad deal, actually.

BB would parlay that to no end.

that would be an excellent deal. What more are you hoping?

I'd want the #6 and the Pats keep their pick. Why not daydream!

I'd also want Woody Johnson to get a bad case of acne and look like John Clayton for 1000 years.

Woody has placed Charlie Casserly is in charge of the Jets football operations.

It doesn't get any better than this.

So, I'm watching NFLN a week or so ago and they've got a roundtable going on who won free agency...comes to Charlie Casserly and he says, "Has to be the Jets," then rolls on and on and on about them.

I'm sitting there thinking, "wait a minute, isn't Casserly head of operations for that team?"

And of course, that was never mentioned.

That kind of non-disclosure, even in an entertainment show is a stain.

If there was anybody (besides Woody Johnson) who actually put even a hint of stock into anything Casserly said, perhaps a disclaimer would have been appropriate.

It would be ridiculous for the NFL to wait until after the draft to punish the jets

The jets tampered 2 months ago. How long does it take for Goodell to figure this out?

It's just like the justice system....it's F'ed up and needs to be changed...but look who's in charge? I won't change

I think Mike Kensil is clearing out his office as we speak and is looking for a place in New Jersey.

I hope you're right. The NFL is being run by former Jets and it shows.

The MMQB interview of Goodell gives the impression that Goodell is trying to distance himself from Kensil. He may use this as an opportunity to try to prove he's not a Jets shill.

Is it really possible to get the 6th pick

Have you seen pigs flying lately?

Oh really? Well the Pats will file SUPER tampering charges against the jest.

So now will Houston file tampering charges against the Pats because of the kind DEPARTING words Belichick had for Vince Wilfork?

Oh really? Well the Pats will file SUPER tampering charges against the jest.

Unfortunately they can't

Goodell has had them on Double Secret Probation for quite some time, so they're disqualified from claiming Super Tampering
