Jets have filed tampering charges against Patriots based on Robert Kraft's Monday comments about Darrelle Revis, per league source.

Kraft spoke in the PAST tense. Nothing about how he currently wants a player under contract with another team. What a joke of an organization.

What did kraft say?

What did kraft say?

"We thought we made a very competitive offer [to Revis]," Kraft said in a media address. "I speak as a fan of the New England Patriots, we wanted to keep him. We wanted him in our system, and we have certain disciplines. We had hoped it worked out. It didn't. We just don't think about short-term decisions. For example, next year we have three very good young defensive players coming up and we have to factor that."

Everything is in past tense.

I called it that the Jets would file tampering charges. I knew it would happen.

I can't wait for the Manish Mehta's article how the Jets were justified for filing the tampering charges for the most egregious form of tampering in league history.

Yeaaaah that's not tampering. Total Jets move. Kinda funny actually.

This is going to get HUGE traction because its us "cheating" again. Mark my words. This will become a stern talking to of Kraft and Johnson in private by Goodell, a "their penalties cancel each other out" presser in public, and some type of slap on the wrist will be added for Deflategate.

Jest gonna Jest.

Wait, what? Unless I'm missing something that doesn't seem like tampering to me.

If that happens we riot

Brilliant move by the Jets just being honest they are hoping the Patriots agree to drop their charges to not deal with their crap.
Honestly there claim is completely baseless Belichick saw this coming which is why he didnt speak much on it.
But the Jets are hoping the Patriots and NFL just drop it due to the ridiculous nature.
They are attempting to make tampering look like a joke.
However there tampering was very real and damaging to us successful for them.
I hope they lose their 1st to us.
