Colts proposed rule change

Didn't BB get the "taller goal posts" rule passed?

they begrudgingly passed that and it turned out to be right. every year it's the same thing "we don't think BB's rule change are good for the game." I think a lot of it is because league insiders don't like him. He's successful and embarrasses everyone.

here's MY proposed rule change....no more ****in' drug addict, drunk, midwestern team owners allowed in the NFL...it's like the damned Koch brothers have bought half this league up as these wingnut whackjob attempts to hijack every season with these mongoloidal proposals proliferate like stinking cow pies left out in the sun for a month.

Well, to be candid, I proposed that, on the kickoff, if the kicker manages to place the ball across the bar between the uprights, in the same manner as a FG or PAT, then the kicking team gets awarded 1 point. Everything else continues as normal. The ball comes out to the 20 yard line, any fouls that ocurred are still called, etc. The only change is that if the ball goes through the uprights on a kickoff, the kicking team gets 1 point.

My proposed rule change is that the team with the worst record in the league is ineligible for receiving the #1 pick. They will be assigned the #10 pick. This includes teams tied for the worst record. So if three teams share the worst 3-13 record, a team with the 4-12 record will get the #1 pick while the 3-13 teams will get picks # 10-12.

And what problem does this fix?

It just never ceases to amaze me how depraved and utterly bereft of morals the NFL offices heirarchy is...

Yeah but tanking rarely happens in the NFL. That causes more problems then it solves.

Except it did happen when it just so happened the #1 pick was a sure-fire Hall of Fame quarterback and the Colts will reap the benefits for the next fifteen years.

and NOW the New York NFL mongoloid army comes up with THIS!!! Just unfrickenbelievable..

Fixed cameras on boundary lines (proposal No. 12): “I’m not optimistic that one gets passed because every stadium is configured differently, and to construct camera locations and whatnot, I just don’t know if there is a need to do that.”

WHAT???????????????????????????????????????

just amazing how ignorant these ultra rich, insulated douchebags think we are..."every stadium is configured different????????????????????????????????????????????????".....HUH? The field is a rectangle of EXACT proportions in all 32 venues. Jeezus krist, this mutt is either on drugs or suffering from SBCL (Sudden Brain Cell Loss)."construct camera locations and WHATNOT"...holy krist, like this is some earth shattering quantum theory puzzle or something.

We all know what this really is...MORE NYC/NYNFL centric boolshyt...these goons are running amok.

Ya but the committee would look complete bias if they didn't approve something as simple as that

More cameras to help replay and it's not going to get voted against 2 years in a row. $9bn league and they vote against fixed cameras to help replay because why?

well....maybe we should ask John Clayton since he's obviously made of the same genetic material as Mara...

But how often does a can't miss player like Luck come around? It's rare that the top overall player is a consensus pick before the season even starts (and stays that way) and VERY rare to have a prospect with so few questions. I don't like the idea of a rule change that will punish the truly worst team in football year after year for that one season the next can't miss guy comes along.

OUR coach chimes in on the NFL "Parade Of Idiots"....

"3. The Patriots again proposed boundary cameras to which are fixed on the sidelines, end zone and end line. The league has, without irony, said that the expense of the cameras is one of the sticking points. This gives us a chance to revisit the Best of Belichick from the 2014 owner’s meetings when talking about the NFL moaning about the cost. "We just spent however many millions of dollars on the replay system. I mean, there are 1,000 cameras in every stadium, so if somebody spills a beer on somebody, we have it on record, right? Maybe we could have a bake sale to raise some money for the cameras. We could do a car wash."

Truly a league full of pinheaded scumbag owners.....

This is the quote that stood out for me

Bill Belichick is as smart a coach as there is in the game and is always coming up with different strategies. The one they used against Baltimore was ingenious and certainly within the rules. The question is, do we want that going forward? Probably the majority of coaches say no. You can ask them.

So in other words being smarter than your colleagues and having a deeper, more profound knowledge of the game, it's intricacies and rules is frowned upon. Ingenuity is not to be encouraged as it creates an unfair advantage to the clever folks, even it is 100% legit and within the rules.

LOL, why did they stop there? Maybe if the midfield 2nd PAT is successful, they should receive the ensuing kick-off too.
and a draft pick

Making Jaguars games more entertaining.
There's a difference between tanking and sucking. Plus the players don't tank. They aren't going to play any harder than they were.

They apparently have spent their integrity budget on investigating the psi of footballs.

Meanwhile they'll keep the PAT as is wasting 10 minutes per TD on a meaningless play while preaching about game length when talking about reviews.
