If he is a CB, I'll be cheering

EDIT: Look, it's Zac Robinson. Okay, i'll cheer for him too

I recognize a couple of those names from Undrafted. Hope all of these guys can catch on with a team and keep living their dream.

On a personal note I would like us to sign Michael Sam AND resign Tebow. E!SPN might actually implode on itself, much to my enjoyment.

Interesting idea.

Sam, I hope he gets a job in the NFL or goes to canada

Sam. I find it really hard to believe that the player of the year in the SEC cant find a team interested in his skills. I'm not saying anything, i'm just sayin. I am an Auburn University fan and watch a ton of SEC football, and Sam was a great player. I hope he gets a shot

It's not the first time a college standout didn't make it in the NFL.

Sam has gotten blackballed in the NFL, he didn't have a single workout after the cowboys cut him.

Is anyone surprised? Try to politicize your career (which never really started) and schedule TV shows, etc, veggie you get drafted. He put his interests and agenda before the interests of a team he wasn't even a part of yet. This isn't even taking into account "conflicting opinions" within a stereotypically "man's man/macho" work place environment.

Had he avoided the media storm, and made a statement after EARNING a role on a team, things may have give differently. Hell, create some bonds in the locker room first.

Don't get me wrong, I'm indifferent to his success at the NFL level. If he signs with us I hope he gotta gang busters. If he signs with the jest, I hope he makes the team and is a complete turd of a player, costing them numerous big plays week in, week out (not happening with their dline, but you get my drift).

In the end his actions, and the media frenzy surrounding them, forced him into his current position. There will be a media *********** over any team that gives him an invite, followed by a ticker blurb upon PS signing and eventual release.

Not familiar with most of the names, but if any team could shield Sam from the media fedging frenzy it would be the Patriots.. but not sure there is a need.

Mike Golic, sounds interesting perhaps if he attended the "Scarnecchia/DeGugiemo finishing school for O lineman" he could be a possibility..

Aaron Berry and Terrell Troup are interesting players.

He is undersized, and not athletic at all, there are OL who run fast 40s than him. I think it has more to do with that than him being blackballed.

Totally agree.. there have been alleged murders, rapers, racists and substance abuse addicts in locker rooms and anyone thinks that a gay player would be an issue ? If he would have been able to contribute, he would still be in the NFL...

Media made this more of an issue than it ever really was... my guess is that he has been told that he didn't have the measurables that projected him to have a sustained NFL career, so he jumped on the media wagon..

I want that to happen 0n the same day, and with the Ted Wells report being released the same day, stating that it was a sting setup by that former Jets guy. I think that would be how the world ends. It wasn't CERN that imploded and sucked the whole earth into it(seriously, I heard people think that could realisticly happen), it will be the ESPN studios that implodes and sucks in the whole planet.

you can try and cloak yourself in that but the league is always trying to get pass rushers and thats what Sam does best, if you believe hes so terrible that despite his great performance in college and preseason that he was unworthy of a single workout then there probably isnt a way I can change your mind. I'm not sure if he is good enough to be on a 53 man roster, but I do know that he was undersized before he came out and that didnt stop scouts from projecting him as a 4th or 5th round guy. somehow after he's come out these concerns are too massive for him to even get workouts

tons of players have gotten tv shows or media appearances around the draft, I think its just trying to find justification for bigotry. Jackie Robinson had numerous interviews about being the first black player in the MLB before he even made the team, are you saying he created a media storm and the dodgers should have just cut him?
