I have to admit I was prejudiced against Brady Quinn -- there was a hype machine behind him when he came into the NFL and I reacted against it.

But this is a really well done article on Tim Tebow. In fact, it makes me wish that the Pats would have a look at him (Brady Quinn, that is, not Tebow).

Worst QBs have been given more chances. Would be entertaining to see it happen.

At least he's an intelligent person who understands that success in the NFL requires incredibly hard study -- which is more than a guy who's currently in Cleveland seems to have realized.

Excellent article.

Tim Tebow was a bad QB as has been stressed many times, but he made plays, he brought some wins to his team and that is important, there are QB's who does everything right by the book and never win ****. Sometimes you just need a guy who says "fuk it gimme the ball".

I don't understand how crappy teams like the Tennessees of life never gave him a chance, he is a gamer, he's a baller, he's a play maker and a shot caller.

Brady Quinn is half writing about his own career.

Good article, I liked the point of view. Time away was probably a good thing for Tebow. I would like to see him get another shot. I mean, guys like Sanchez and Geno Smith are still employed in the NFL and are starting for teams for crying out loud... Shouldn't someone have room for Tim to at least be a backup and compete?

* And making millions

This is exactly why everyone hates this guy. How many quarterbacks have been drafted and bounced from the league within a couple years never to be heard from again?

For some reason the media is so in love with this guy that anytime someone even whispers his name its the lead on sportscenter and all over the internet.

I'm sick of hearing about him. He sucks. Stick a fork in him. Enough already. Supposedly coming out of college he was changing his mechanics and it never happened. The problem with Tebow is that people have been blowing smoke up his ass for so long that he actually believes it which is why he insists that he's a QB when every team in the league has told him otherwise. It's the same reason he reverts to whatever stupid habits he's developed over the years. He just can't grasp that what he did in college won't work in the NFL.

In a league where Josh ****en McCown can get 12m there's got to be a place for a guy like Tim Tebow.

I am glad NE doesn't need to rely on a guy like Tebow. He has proven to be inaccurate. He won in Denver in a year their division was awful.

Having said that - there are so so so many mediocre (and worse) QBs in the NFL, it is surprising someone doesn't take a shot. He does have good qualities, and even his inaccuracy should be less disturbing that having Geno or Fitzpatrick or McCown on your roster.

Tom Brady : we have maybe under appreciated you.

That was a good article. Spot on.

the one chance he was given he did well and never got another. I don't think his success was sustainable but I was dying to see it unfold.

A lot have, but can you list another who went 8-6 as a starter with a play-off win who had thrown 17 TDs to 9 INTs plus another 12 TDs on the ground?

Jake Locker, Case Keenum, Brandon Weedon, Connor Shaw, and Matt Barkley actually played in real NFL games last season.

I mean, Ryan Lindley started a play-off game last year. Seriously, nobody has a spot for Tebow?

I'm not advocating for him to make the Pro Bowl. But if I can find a spot for Ryan Lindley on my roster, I should find one for Tebow.

You can tell he really is a virgin by how he refuses to try another position.

Moray importantly, he was wildly successful in destroying the Sanchize's confidence, prompting a big pay day from the millionaire moron, and stirred up controversy in the locker room and media while with the Jest. Granted, that could have been any half way qualified NFL QB, it is the Jest, the NFL's own expert QB destroyer.

How many players have cycled through the Patriots system for being versatile only to prove that they have a starting role for this team?? If Tebow considered other positions, TE for example, he might make the roster.

Even considering the CFL to hone his craft might be beneficial..

Know it is raisins and grapefruit, but Edelman was a quarterback at Kent State.

I think he is a good football player, but not a very good quarterback..

Everyone says how smart he is, but how smart can he be if he narrows his options to fulfill his life ambition??

If he only wants to play QB I don't see why that's a problem. That's his ambition and only up to him to decide what he wants to do. He's out of the league because of it but it is what it is.
