Pats lay the blueprint vs. Colts, but no one follows it?

A fun fact from PFR:

In four games against the Patriots in the last three years, the Colts have allowed 15 rushing TDs (3.75/game).
In 46 games against everyone else over that same span, the Colts have allowed just 39 rushing TDs (0.85/game).

So why hasn't every team copied the Pats' formula?

Because they don't have a corrupt organization who can deflate 0.42 PSI from each football, causing the RB to get an extra 0.3298 milimeter grip that leads to 4x as many TDs and yards.

Pats are in Luck's head....

Luck for suck game plan ....

Favre in a blue uniform..

Because not that many other teams have a QB like Brady that scares the **** out of them against the pass way more than the run.

Blount needs to find a way to play against the Colts the entire season. He purposely gets himself cut and then signs onto whatever team is about to face the Colts and just repeat this process until we permanently keep him for the post season.

Because many teams play scared against teams with top QBs. They think if they run vs. Luck, they will get crushed. The second the Colts get a lead, the other team thinks they have to get into a track meet.

Maybe it's more than just saying, "We're gonna run against the Colts..." Maybe it involves identifying specific vulnerabilities against the run and game planning specific plays to exploit them? Belichick is better than most coaches.

I guess there aren't many teams that can change their offensive game plan from pass to run successfully depending on their opponents weaknesses.

Dallas sure crushed the Colts on the ground.

But, your point is well taken, in a copycat league why hasn't everyone just lined up and run over the Colts. Houston, for one, seems to have the personnel to do it as well.

Thanks for the laugh and the reminder; I almost forgot about deflated footballs.

because the ultimate prize is not beating the colts

First ever season for a rb with 3000 yds and 60 TDs?

Maybe because the colts never had a stable rb. Colts were down to the 4th stringer. Vick ballard got injured in the first practice of training camp, then ahmad bradshaw, richardson sucks. Boom herrons first game ever was in the final games of the season and tipton barely had snaps.

Joseph addai was our key to beating the patriots in 2006. No running game takes a huge toll not only on the offense but the defense gets tired when you go 3 and out consistently because you know luck has no choice but to pass. So by the second half, they are drained.

Waaahh!! Waaaahhhh!! Those poor Colts never had a running back. If only Vick Ballard were playing, or Ahmad Bradshaw, surely they wouldn't have been annihilated four straight games. I'm sure it would have made a big difference going from a C+ running back to a B- running back...in fact, I think both those guys are Hall of Famers, since they account for about 30 points when they are out. Do you think maybe anything had to do with the Colts defense? Naaah. Some idiotic and untrue concept from nine years ago should explain this issue.

Please get this clown off our message boards. He is contaminating it. I know Colts fans would be embarrassed to know this imbecile is polluting our discussions.
