Seems like Greg Hardy is off the market, not that people were clamoring for him to be signed by the Pats.

That guy is a beast, on and off the field. The devil on one shoulder would be ok with the signing. Just a violent pass rusher who made Carolina a very good defense a couple of years ago. The angel on the other shoulder would be ashamed.

Can anyone imagine Kraft signing him after winning a UN end violence against women award? That singing was never happening.

That has got to be one of the worst contracts the NFL has ever seen. Love his skill and it's not my money but lord. The cap hit and guaranteed money is just too much. They better hope Sheldon Richardson doesn't decide to break the bank cuz their will only be enough room for Revis and his contract because the rest will only be fodder.

The contract is pretty much exactly what everyone has known it would be from the moment he got loose from Tampa.

He's mentally unstable. Elite pass rusher, but borderline crazy

@AdamSchefter: Raiders free-agent WR Denarius Moore is scheduled to meet Thursday with NY Jets, per source. Jets need a speed WR to go along with other WRs

Ok, my bad. I remember reading an article right before the Super Bowl essentially making the argument that they were screwed because Romo's deal made it impossible for them to keep Dez and Demarco and that they were already going to be over the cap without signing any one.

There were people on here clamoring for him. In fact if he goes out and has a 15+ sack season and happens to have a decent game against the Pats this year that number will go up tremendously about how the Pats could have had him and just another mistake by the the idiot GM BB

Seriously bookmark this post and watch Hardy get a sack and few hits on Brady during the game. You'll see a bunch of posts in the game thread about how Pats should have signed him.

No worries...

The NFLPA data could be wrong or incomplete, although I think it's usually a solid reference. Also, Hardy's deal sets a very low base salary ($750,000), so we don't know the current cap hit because of all the incentives.

The more I think about it the more I want AP, trade for him and go oline and defense in the draft.

No chance Kraft will have AP on this team. No shot at all.

And thank god.

Even if Kraft wanted him we'd have to give up a TON to get him, there'd be no draft picks left by the time the Vikings got through with us.

Hardy can make over $13M this year with incentives, but none of it is guaranteed:
For those who asked, "MPGARB" in Greg Hardy's one-year deal with Dallas is a 53-man per game roster bonus....

The Cowboys also gave up the right to use the franchise tag on Hardy next year.

Even with a possible 6 game suspension to start the season, that's a ton of money ($8M if he plays a 10 game season, plus incentives).
