Yes, you're a whiner, how else can you describe someone who is bemoaning the state of a Championship team one week into the offseason? And yes the mob is on your side crying about all the Patriots haven't done, which is what those who do understand the cap are responding to. And in addition you are totally oblivious as you actually have the audacity to question what makes you a whiner when you started a thread crying about the off season when it's only one week old? And yes, I do have confidence in Belichick
'S ability to put together another really good team, I guess that comes from the fact that he has put together the winningest franchise in football, has four Lombardi's to show for it, and just won one with the youngest SB winner in NFL history.


Name one other franchise who has figured out how to win more in the free agency era than the Patriots?

see you, and the rest of your cronies simply make illogical jumps. you put words in people's mouths. you make stuff up about what people actually say. you get personally offended when the front office is questioned. if you want to work for the patriots, i recommend submitting your resume to the Patriots Front Office. although, my guess is you need higher education than you currently possess. but you can always go back to school for that.

I would venture to say my level of education is higher, but thats not a concern of mine. and the level i played at is most certainly higher than just about 99.999999% of everybody on this forum. but again, not a concern of mine.

What should we be doing, in your opinion? This is a message board where we come together to discuss the team and offer opinions on the Patriots, their play, and yes even their FA signings or lack of signings.

I mean, we have seen this team play terrible defense in the last few years. To bemoan a return to that style of play is not really that far fetched of a reaction to the FA moves we have seen thus far. Especially considering what FA players are available, the CBs in the draft, and the trade options.

That doesn't mean we want a different coach or even a different GM. Why are people not allowed to react to what is going on right now.....?

my original post...all it did was ASK a few questions. how did we improve? how can we improve on the secondary. i wrote i am frustrated bc to me, it seems we will go back to the soft zone type defensive scheme that allows the oppoenents to convert more 3rd downs and keep are offense off the field. there arent many options available at corner. so how can we get better.

Your use of grammar and posting style would say otherwise. Your behavior would indicate you are no more than early 20's in age. If you are older than that than you must have some sort of immaturity problem. More importantly if your level of education is indeed higher (than Ivan I suppose) and you are so sure, than I would think that you may want to contact whatever school you went to and ask for your money back.

Clearly, money not well spent.

Bottom line is you are a whiner and are now whining about the right to whine more about your original whining.

FURTHERMORE, i wrote something to the effect "we dont need a great player but a good player" to replace revis. then i said we need somethnig at least close.

someone in the mob then told me i m crazy and i said that we need a Hall of Famer to replace him. which couldnt be further from the truth.

then i have people telling me im questioning that we are going to win games. which i never said.

You have to understand, and it took me a while to get it myself, this is a Patriots message board. What kinds of people post incessantly on a message board? What kinds of qualities do you expect them to have?

Sure, there will be your handful of reasonable people, but there is a large contingent of unreasonable people. Folks who love to argue, folks who love to complain, and most of that group enjoys a good strawman argument.

They ignore the main rationale of the argument to attack some small trivial piece, they get into personal attacks, they question your "football knowledge"

Do not get baited into this type of nonsense, you will be happier. You cannot win these arguments, there are always new ways to get you to respond. Sure, it can be difficult, and sometimes you may be baited, but as a reasonable person, if you are indeed reasonable, you will be able to pull out before too much time and effort are expended.
