I'm okay with the move. Still in his 20's, I think he has some talent and needs better coaching. I don't think he's gonna be awesome, but he could hopefully turn out to be decent. I'm guessing the money is pretty low.

Most of the reactions seem to be as if he was named a starter. It's one year, probably close to the minimum and he'll have to win a spot on the roster before even sniffing the field.

I'm guessing that maximum is (at the very very least) dependent on him making the team. I doubt it hurts us at all if he gets cut. No cause for alarm here, folks.

Guys if its a one year deal and if hes on the 53 man roster, doesnt matter if the money is fully gtd or not, the cap hit is the same.... Am i wrong?

That said, there had been a distinct lack of former Rams in this year's free agent class so I'm glad we checked that box. Already got the Rutgers guy.
