@NBCdianna: No problems or issues between Stevie Johnson & the Patriots. The receiver will decide between the Chargers & the Patriots per sources

In other words, Johnson told the Patriots he would sign if the Patriots could match the Chargers offer, the Patriots held their ground, and Johnson left, politely telling them he'd think about it. Seems to be par for the course.

Patriots have numerous examples of players who resurrected their careers in NE and that is their selling point; they are trying to find players who will buy into their system and the eventual pay day, even though they will take less now.

I love New England, but someone could offering me a job in San Diego right about now and I'd seriously consider it.

Anyone?

If the $$ is the same..and i lived out there...i know i would be going home

She can shove her sources where the sun don't shine. She's just trying to cover her tracks now.

From that perspective, count me in on the sunny San Diego beaches. However, from a business perspective, the chances of succeeding and resurrecting your career are much higher in New England. If Belichick thinks you are valuable and you succeed in NE, your value gets very high.

Well if I were him I'd choose the Chargers. More likely to get more targets there and set up his next big contract. SD needs to replace all the targets they are losing with Royal and he will likely get those.

Hope I am wrong cause I do want him here.

It is a gimme that the Patriot's draft choices will contribute little for the team in 2015. Will our
free agency be good enough to keep us ahead of the other teams in the division?

Some johnson stats

He was 16th in yards per route run.

Kapernick had a QB rating of 102 when he targeted Johnson

He only had 2 drops last year.

The Patriots were free agency winners last year. Deriding such a thing now seems a bit silly, at the very least.

Oh stop changing history. They are only considered free agency winners last year because the moves they made brought a SB. But Denver was crowned the winners of Free Agency going into the season.

Up the offer Patriots, I feel Stevie is a Calli kid and is going to be a Charger can't blame him beautiful city.
Hope I'm wrong.
All aboard the Crabtree express?

2 out of how many targets?

So basically he's signing with SD. Damn this is getting old.

@StevieJohnson13: “War is nothing to be played with. I apologize North Korea…….but if y’all do bomb 1st… Bomb Foxboro, Mass. Sincerely, #BillsMafia”

Just because he is a big name left on the board. Does not mean we need the likes of him. Let's bring in Patriot type players. This kid is a punk.

This was tweeted after the Boston Bombings. I personally seen the affects of the bombings on a few of my friends. What ever happened to acquiring character type of players like Sheard.

Personally I hope while he was here for a visit. They lined up like in the movie airplane and all took a good a good pop at him.

No offense to the East Coast, I'm alife long NY'er, but man, California is so much nicer than most of the East Coast. Better way of life, absolutely beautiful areas and weather. Just can't be beat. Can't wait until I move back. I think he signs with the Chargers for all of the above, plus he might have a larger more important role with the Chargers.
