Bush to 49ers

Disappointing. Would assume he wanted more than Bill was willing to offer in addition to going back home.

Welp, onto Pierre Thomas.

One thing is clear, the Pats view the 3rd down back as plug-n-play.

Or Jay Ajayi?

start the sign the beaat pierre thomas thread

I bet Bush got much more than BB would give..Pierre would come cheaper and ghe's not a softy like bush

Thank goodness. I have never been that impressed with him. I don't like the idea that something is better than nothing. I would rather draft a 3rd down back/receiver.

Youth at that 3rd down back position. Draft or he may already be on the team.

I view the RB situation as not a huge need as I like what we have in-house. Looks like we want a 3rd down back; if a RB signs, great. I bet Jonas Gray is motivated.

Where will we ever find a quick sub six footer who can catch a pass. Must only be a million of them who burned it up in college but never made it in the NFL.

If we could put two of them together we could solve the NT position too.

Belichick has never been one to hand the keys to the car, so to speak, to a Rookie 3rd Down RB.

Case in point: James White, Shane Vereen, etc.
how is that case in point? He had Woodhead already in 2011 and Vereen when he drafted White.

I disagree..a great 3rd down back is a neccessity..esp against top defenses. We don''t beat SEA without Vereen..

I'm not convinced enough to say that. He made alot of catches that I think alot of people can make. Wide open screens. He made one great one handed catch.. But most of his catches were wide open and very easy catches that even he couldn't drop.

that one handed catch had tip, int written all over it. That would have been the game
