You hate Johnson unless he plays for your team.

Edit: wrong johnson. Not as excited now.

Loving the caliber of the players we are targeting. This team may lack talent, but it won't lack heart.

How can a defending SB Champion lack talent?

...and Stevie Johnson is not exactly a guy who has the street cred of being someone you want with you when the bullets start flying.

I would welcome this addition. Not the sharpest tool in the shed but he has talent that I feel NE could benefit from.

I feel the Patriots could maximize Stevie's talent and I think he would come pretty cheap. Furthermore since he was released from the 49ers he doesn't count in the comp picks formula. I also think he would get along well with Edelman & Gronk, they seem like they would like each other.

Confusing post all around. This team is very talented, and Stevie Johnson is a punk ***** with no heart at all. Maybe Bill can straighten him out but I'm just confused by this post.

A lot of people said that about Moss in Oakland. But he gave us 3 very good years after coming to the Pats. I don't see a downside to signing Stevie Johnson if it's a cheap prove-it deal. 1 year rental players have the most to prove!

He runs a 4.59

Must be an incredible route runner if a WR with that sub-par speed can consistently beat Revis

I'm all for it. Weird how he fell off the face of the earth in SF.

But can't we call him Steve or Steven or even Ocho-Quatro? C'mon Stevie, you're not 7.

He ran a 4.46 at his pro day. Maybe something was bothering him at the combine? He has excellent size at 6'2 and had some very productive years with the Bills with three 1,000+ seasons in a row. At age 28, he's still in his prime. A great buy-low candidate.

He's had some success against Revis in the past.

WTF??? i suspect this Super Bowl win spoiled some fans even more than the 18-1 season
