With Mike Wallace now traded to Vikings, receiver Greg Jennings is likely to be a cap casualty and released. I've always liked Jennings, and if we can get him on the cheap, I think he could be a very worth pick-up. Patriots value good route-running ability and Jennings should still be sharp, atleast for a year or two more. Reggie Wayne was very good into his early 30s and he's only now faded at 36. Jennings is still 31 and I think has a decent couple of seasons left in the tank.

I wanted him 2 years ago and he proceeded to suck since then. I know he had bad QBs throwing to him but I don't know.

The only receivers I see Bill signing would be practice squad types at this point.
Probably already maxed at the WR/TE $$$ allotment since chandler was signed.

He'll be cheaper than Stevie Johnson

The reason he is so cheap is because he is completely washed up. I have watched Jennings every year since 2006, and he has physically dropped off drastically in the past 2 years. He is no longer capable of starting in the NFL. Time for him to retire. Once a very good Wr, he is a shadow of his former self.

Let's not be bottom feeders here, you pay for what you get.

So... old...

Crazy how some guys age so much better than others. He's only 31.

2-3 years ago I would've LOVED to have him. Now, not really... Maybe for camp competition.

Jennings has played a lot more like Beauty than Beast since 2011.. I'll pass.

Paint me interested in a prove it deal.....but I'd rather Crabtree

A change of scenery could do wonders for either......Rodney Harrison proves that theory

I have a hard time believing he's finished, but he hasn't looked good with Minnesota. He's not near the top of my list.

He's just been released according to twitter.

Rather look towards the draft for wr than this old guy

What am I hearing? People wouldn't take Jennings to be potentially the #2 or #3 WR if the cap hit was low?

Put him with Brady in this offense and he'll make some catches.
