The Miami Dolphins have reportedly traded linebacker DannellEllerbe and a 2015 third-round draft pick to the New Orleans Saints for wide receiver Kenny Stills, according to Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports.

What does this trade mean for Mike Wallace and the rest of the wide receivers currently on the Dolphins roster? Will any of them lose their spot on the team to make room for Stills?

Watch as Bleacher Report NFL Insider Jason Cole discusses the fallout of the Stills trade in the video above.

People have been focusing that the Dolphins have signed Suh, but they seem to be ignoring that they have either cut or traded away half the team. They have gotten rid of a lot of dead wood, but they have also gotten rid of some pretty good players who just had big contracts.

Overrated and overpriced (which I doubt is going to change this offseason). Pass.

Bet he goes back to Pittsburgh.

They already have a heck of an offense. Wallace would make them really dangerous.

Save the money for some help on the Defense.....

Pats Offense should be very good again this year.....maybe even BETTER than last year's version. :)

The Pats should really really jump on this. I'm sure he'll come cheap since no one was willing to trade for him and hes now damaged goods. But he isn't a headcase like Harvin, he isn't a locker room cancer. He's more similar to Moss on the Raiders rather than to Harvin on his teams. Less of a distraction and more of someone who wasn't properly motivated. He can really rehabilitate his image here if he does well. Sign him Bill, please.

Wallace was always a one trick pony (go route) and Antonio Brown is twice the receiver Wallace will ever be.
I do remember all the press headlines that with the additions of Ellerbe and Wallace, Miami was a force to be reckoned with. Where has that gotten them?..other than jettisoning players off and paying 60 mil in guaranteed $$$ for Suh.

it was my understanding the Steelers let him walk because they felt he was an one trick pony. Granted at a low price, they might want a one trick pony.

I think if his price is low enough, the Ravens might go after him. They need to replace Torrey Smith and they seem to like deep threats who run poor routes for Jump Ball Joe.

We would finally have a weapon that teams fear going deep

someone make another sign this beast thread lol

..wallace isnt patriot material!:)

Sign him, Please. Bush and Wallace make our offense complete and lethal. IT will also shut up the rest of the AFC East. I am sick of hearing about the bills jets fins catching up to us.

Revis will shut down Wallace with his eyes closed. If Wallace can run routes inside, you can burn Revis a bit, but the dude hates contact

I wouldn't mind a one trick pony that can do the one trick none of our other ponies can do.. (if it comes cheap enough):)

We should be wishing that Miami had kept overpriced/underperforming players like Hartline, Finnegan, and Wallace.

They've added the #1 free agent in Suh, brought in one of the top young TEs in free agency with Jordan Cameron, and traded for one of the most promising young wideouts in the game with Kenny Stills (63 catches and close to 1000 yds last year in only his 2nd season).

Are those overpriced role players like Hartline, Ellerbe, etc greally oing to matter in the bigger picture? Who knows, but they were a team with a losing record last season, so shaking things up can't exactly hurt, can it?

Two things
Last year he started making some unbelievable catches so he has good hands. Secondly the WR Gibson the Pats signed was his best friend on the Miami team.

I'm still not convinced that a guy like Belichick would really consider that, even if he's pointed out some of his strengths in the past, but there's only one person who would really know the answer to that.

I doubt that Wallace would be paid enough here, or that he'd fit in and be happy with his role. I think someone will be happy to pay him 7m dollars a year, which is still down from his prior 11+, but likely much too expensive for us even if we wanted him.
