Just looked that up. I now get why people are using the word stupid in regards to a trade.

9.6 million in dead cap space if release if I'm reading that right. Ouch.

Wallace could re due his contract for a trade. He was willing to re due it couple says ago.
Even Dannell Ellerbe agreed to a restructured contract for the trade going to the saints

Nevermind says wallace getting released.

Rumor is that the Saints might have to trade or release Jahri Evans because of the signing of Spiller:

The Saints may have to release RG Jahri Evans to make cap space for C.J. Spiller.

Evan Woodbery of the New Orleans Times-Picayune says "something almost has to happen," and he predicts it will occur in the next 24 hours. As we've seen with Friday's Kenny Stills trade, Drew Brees and Brandin Cooks are the only players on the roster viewed as untouchable. What if Brady's shoes become untied after a snap?! I want him to have the time to get those things tied up nice and safe.

Crabtree got supplanted by Brandon Lloyd last season and was a malcontent afterwards. Aside from one good season, he's been pretty unimpressive his whole career and now he's got a bum Achilles. Bigger name than talent.
