It's easy, and only takes a few moments. If we bring in Mathis then I don't really see the need to bring back Connolly. Wendell was better than him last year. I'd rather take a guard early in the draft(2nd round or so) and let him compete for a starting spot and hopefully take over for Mathis in a few years(Mathis isn't exactly young, so not a long term solution).Even if he only plays one season for us if he could bring a Brian Waters type OL solidification it would be monsterous. Bring back Connolly and have him compete with Wendell for the other Guard spot + draft relatively high.
Don't give up on Dennard, he was hurt last year and Browner took his spot. He played well the year before that.
All day yesterday I was half-expecting an Amendola-to-Eagles deal to be announced. Well maybe they restructured him in order to trade him?
Eagles have a big need at WR, Amendola is Bradford's boy, it makes perfect sense.
He's a clear and decisive upgrade over Wendy or Conolly. In a perfect world, get Mathis, keep Conolly. Or get MathiS and draft a kid who is Stork part deux
B/R Team Stream claims 5 teams in the mix, lists NE, BUF, MIN, NO, and STL as interested and MIA as a "potential suitor".
NO makes NO sense, since they just traded a very good Guard away and are fielding offers for half of their roster.
I believe Ryan Mathews hasn't signed that contract yet, he can just walk away.Do you play 2 backs on the field all the time? It seems ridiculous to have Ryan Mathews as your second-string back.
He just did a bit ago as reported by several media members including Breer.I believe Ryan Mathews hasn't signed that contract yet, he can just walk away.
The Eagles are in the process of trading offensive lineman Evan Mathis, a source tells @LesBowen
