I think I will cheer him first and then hope Gronk or someone knocks him the eff out... or makes him feel some serious pain.

But seriously I dunno... I don't see this as the betrayal that some are seeing it. Revis was never a true Patriot to me, I think some of the things he's saying about "going home" is proof of that. He was just a rental to help us get the ring. Which he did, so he served his purpose.

I don't feel nearly the same seeing him go as watching Vinatieri leaving for the hated Colts or Johnny Damon leaving for the Yankees....

Partially agree. He was a hired gun, who's moved on to more money (or better nightlife). He's a Jet now, so it's unclear why one would cheer him.

I'll definitely cheer him. Otherwise no Lombardi 4 would have been remotely possible. Now we are back to that soft zone cover 2 crap and hoping elite qbs get eliminated before they play us in the playoffs. If anything boo Kraft for not paying the speeding ticket to sign this amazing legend

I will cheer him but I hope we beat them twice.

When he comes here with the Jets? CHEER him? That's crazy. I will neither cheer nor boo him. He deserves our indifference now. He was a rented Ferrari, an expensive ride that was fun while it lasted. Loved him when he was here, cheered for him when he was here, but he never was a real Patriot.

cheer...at least at first. guy helped us win a champioship. he wanted to go back to his original team, which by the way gave him a ridiculous contract. how can any of us fault him?

I'll probably just cry a little bit. This is like waking up from a really good dream.

REEEEEEVISSSSSSS, REEEEEEVISSSSSSS, REEEEEEVISSSSSSS, REEEEEEVISSSSSSS..........

Traitors are always booed in my view.

I certainly won't cheer him, but I won't boo him either. He was a one-year rental -- that's clear from the way the contract was structured. Both the Pats and Revis ended up winners in that deal, and now it's done. If I ran into him in a bar I'd buy him a beer and thank him for his contributions. No hard feelings.

That being said, you have to feel a bit sorry for the guy. He obviously has some kind of psychological problem he's dealing with... How else can you explain wanting to play for a crap franchise like the Jets?

I wish we had paid him but he chose the money and the jests. He is
jests at heart. I hope someone pops him on the field.

Boo and offend at the least, but I'm not going to the stadium any soon so that's indifferent.

Whore24 is dead to me.
Nut, you ought to have T-shirts made with a smiling Revis holding wads of cash and "Whore24" in big letters underneath. It would sell well in New England and Tampa.

It just came to me the other night. And given his track record, I think it fits. All the Jests fans now worshiping at the Whore24 alter forget that he held out 3 times when a Jet, part of the reason they shipped him to Tampa.

Why would I cheer a Jet?

On non game days I will appreciate what he did. Same for Adam.

On the back of the T-shirt you can have the dates of the holdouts, amounts he made from each team, etc.
