Huge upgrade over Hoomanwanui in every way. Belichick needs to be on the phone with him immediately.

I'd love to see the Patriots bring him in. Big upgrade at TE position after Gronk.

The Pats freed up a TON of money by not picking up the options for Revis, Browner and Wilfork..

The Pats are still 7M under the cap and have several moves they can make to create more when needed.

Edit: Should have been about 9.5 give or take upon further review : P

Opps. I meant 9 M (well i suppose it should be 9.5... 13.5 - 4 which is this years cap after the Jaball hit). Tried to factor it in and just got the numbers mixed up.

id like to do this signing too but I think you greatly overvalue Chandler based on how good he has been against us, the Bills don't really have a Tight end other than Chandler so his numbers are a little inflated. If you put Hooman on Buffallo he might put up similar numbers, Chandler is really an upgrade for his slightly better blocking

Scouting reports say hes average at pass& run blocking. That could work. Hes a big target.

They were 14 million under the cap before today - still not a lot of room to manuever. Now with sheard, they have even less money to work with.

i;d take him i guess. upgrade on timmy wright. ( not saying much ) jordan cameron is still out there. excellent pro bowl te. has concussion issues though

I'd make chandler replace Hooman. Wright is our 2nd best receiving TE behind Gronk
