Pats one of three teams interested in Terrance "Pot Roast" Knighton

Patriots among 3 teams (Ravens, Seahawks) interested in a little pot roast. Could Tom Brady's buddy Terrance Knighton land in New England?

Knighton grew up a Patriots fan in CT. Not much of a Brady fan.

I say let it happen if it can work!

There's definitely a theme emerging in these reports: Patriots seem to be targeting DT through free agency (Fairley, Knighton, Wilfork possible return). I wonder if they feel like they already have a good group of young bodies at the position (Easley, Jones, Siliga) and want to shore that up with veterans. Would indicate to me that we're going to see the draft focus on OL or CB.

As for Knighton himself, I see Baltimore giving him more money than the Pats. I think they want a Ngata replacement.

Oh please don't tease me like this. Signing him would be huge (pun not intended)! Especially ****blocking seahawks and ravens both of whom could be in our way in the playoffs again. Get er done BB.

Thus far their FA targets appear to be front seven. I can live with a little sketchiness on the back end if the build a dominant front.

Knighton and resign Branch please! Would love to have Wilfork back, but if we can get those two, then there is no need.

I have seen interests with alot of players but no signings. Lol. I hope something gets done soon.

Good. We need all the help we can get at DT right now. He's a much better option than Fairley and I'm sure he can put his negative feelings about Brady to the side if the pay day is good enough.

yah......the theme is that they have chris jones, and dominique easley under contract........maybe vellano too, but to me it is actually a much bigger need than the secondary....even after the departure of revis and browner

It seems clear that the Pats plan to build the defense from inside out rather than outside in. Pressure the QB and don't worry about the secondary as much because the QB won't have time to wait for receivers to get open.

What's Baltimore and Seattle's cap situsituation?

If we sign Knighton, and get VINCE back...

...that's a lotta beef. :D

Let's get him time to start making moves, impsct moves.

Also am I wrong in saying Potroast was the main reason denver went from getting roasted by Bolden to hands down the best run defense in the league over night?

he was just backing up his own QB..........

bringing him in would help me forget the fact that we drafted ron brace 32 picks before him

pot roast and wilfork in the middle with Chris jones and Dominique Easley coming in on 3rd down ill take it
