If we become desperate, isn't Finnegan still available?

Last year the pats lost Talib and signed Revis the following day.

You tell me who they can get who has that level of impact.

This secondary is outright screwed.
Yeah, we never won 10+ games and went deep in the playoffs without a big-name secondary.

Disclaimer: If I dislike a post I follow through with a response.

Its called Draft and groom your own Seattles Starting CB's were not First or Second Round picks. If we do our homework we can find a player or two. When you hit on them through the draft you can have em for 4 to five years on the cheap.

They have been down that road already!! I have zero faith in belichick putting a decent secondary through the draft.

The thought of us getting stuck with Cromartie makes me puke.
He's getting recruited by Darrelle to come back to NY. He'd feed his 12 children better if he came up here, and he'd be the man. The dude can play, he just needs to have the snip-surgery. I'd love him here.

Kraft should get a noble peace prize if we sign him. Also Darelle signed with the Jets not the Bills :p

You can't really compare seattles ability to draft and develop secondary guys to ours

Easy, Wolf!!

I think u made a typo Grid. I think u meant to say Woof

Eh, maybe. Both in 2007 and 2011 the defense kept the Giants to 17 and 21 points. Brady and company should have thought about scoring more points than the teens.
The Pats are always preaching about "situational" football. Well, this was "situational" football at it's pinnacle and ironic or not, the secondary needed to make a play both times and they didn't. In SB 49 they did.

Yes, he signed back with the Jets. A one night (year) stand that ended with confetti, a shiny trophy and a diamond encrusted ring. Thanks for the one night (year) whore, enjoy your disfuncional career that descends into obscurity with a pereniall double-digit losing team.

I wish, but there isn't exactly a stellar track record in this department.

Yeah, we know, you have no faith in anything and probably became a fan on February first and live in Washington state, we get it.

I am on the Chris Culliver bandwagon.

A great secondary is important, but the D-Line is more important. If we can strengthen that group with our strong LB core that is more important to spending on a good cb.

Yeah, Culliver (torn ACL in 2013) is the obvious choice.

BB is terrible at drafting corners. There is a laundry list of busts BB has drafted over the past 15 years. Correct me if I am wrong the only good corer he drafted is Asante Samuel. Not sure McCourty counts because while he was drafted as corner he only had one good season before they moved him to safety. I would love to know what plan B is. I just hope its not the draft.
