Did Baltimore cut ngata?

Get significantly better in the DL to help out the secondary our strongest unit now is the LBs. Draft a few corners and go from there

Right now I feel kraft isnt okay with writing a check for a nickel
Right. Because he didn't just guarantee McCourty nearly 30 million. Why are people so stupid?

This jabaal shared fella..2 sacks last year & like 29 tackles...why so many pats fans think he's so good? Sounds like a jag no?

Akeem Ayers was considered a JAG and now everybody hopes that the Pats re-sign him.

Although Ayers played ok let's not exaggerate because offenses were not shaking in their boots about facing him. Unless we have good additions(and that is not Ayers) or a great not good draft we will be back to the pre Talib defense .

On paper we are the worst secondary In the AFC East by far.
What about a trade for Jason Mccourty.
I'm serious he's a hell of a player and the twins would be in sync on defense.
I'd give up my first for Jason Mccourty right now the way our secondary looks not exaggerating at all I mean it.

There is no way Bill gives up a 1st for a cornerback when he just let the best one go over a few million bucks. That pick is worth WAY more than what broke the Revis deal.

I am In the camp who thinks Revis was never coming back here.
He wanted to be a Jet all along.
Reports said we were out of the running yesterday.
My guess is Bill talked to him made offers Revis kept going back to the NY offer Belichick scoffed and thought he wants to go back to the Jets if money was the same he was going there anyways.
Honestly I cant fault him he spent a lot of years there.
He knew where he was going all along.
I think Revis is one of the only cornerbacks Bill trusts to play man.
He has always preferred a zone rather we hate it or not.
If you eff up in man its 6
If you eff your zone up changes are you gave up a big play but someone is there to cover your but.

I don't want to go back to having to close me eyes on 3rd and long

Well unless our DL gets much more pressure...you will have too again. I thought those days were over too

1. Make DT Terrance Knighton the #1 priority. Nick Fairley and Alan Branch would be back up plans.
2. New Orleans is having a fire sale. Investigate whether CB Keenan Lewis (given his want for larger guarantees) may be available. If he's available for a 2nd or 3rd (given the Pats will have 10,000 of them), make the trade.
3. Further upgrade the line with starters or rotational guys such as George Johnson, Greg Hardy, Adrian Clayborn, B.J. Raj, Da'Quan Bowers etc.
4. Re-sign Ayers and Sheard to play DE/OLB. Pass rush the hell out of it.
5. Take a long, hard look at Tramon Williams, Chris Culliver, Carlos Rogers, Charles Tillman for the short-medium term.
6. Consider the implication of switching scheme.

Whatever way the Patriots go, it is imperative that the team has thumpers who play with attitude. This is where Browner channeled Rodney Harrison. That was worth just as much as Revi$' play.

If all these steps are taken, minus Greg hardy because I want nothing to do with him, then I'll feel better.

Glad I'm not the only one to realize this.

We just guaranteed 30m to McCourty, stop with this "cheap" ****. We gave a TE the highest paying deal, ever, twice, over a few month span, at the time.

We gave a LG the highest paying deal ever, at the time.

We gave a QB in his late 30s 100% guaranteed contract.

We've made NT's and WR's close to the highest paid ever.

We gave a safety the most guaranteed money, ever, a few days ago.

This team isn't cheap, they're smart, and they've won more than 28% of the Superbowls and played in 42% of them in the past 14 seasons.

BB has plans, and he has plans incase those plans fall through. And then there are plans in case those fall through.

There is a very legitimate chance we're playing in the Superbowl again next season no matter who plays corner for us. The AFC is very week and the only real challenger has the #1 choker in NFL history on their roster.

The runner up for the title this year just traded away their first round pick and their best offensive linemen on a not so great OL for a TE who can't block and eats up cap they need to use on their QB.

GB has some horrendous coaching and will need Aaron Rodgers, who hasn't exactly been clutch in the playoffs, to win in spite of McCarthy.

Dallas was only good because they found balance and are now seemingly likely to lose the reason they had balance, Murray.

We're still about as good as it gets in the NFL and we haven't made a single addition outside of Gibson, who might not even play for us.
