Anyone have anything in mind?

1. Mathis stopgap/rookie by end of season (Byron Jones?)
2. Butler
3. Arrington
4. Dennard
5. Ryan

Arrington is a great slot CB and I'm expecting Butler to surprise some people and end up as a solid #2 CB. But CB1, what shall we do?

Antonio Cromartie, CB, Cardinals. Age: 31.
Tramon Williams, CB, Packers. Age: 32.
Chris Culliver, CB, 49ers. Age: 27.
Tarell Brown, CB, Raiders. Age: 30.
Rashean Mathis, CB, Lions. Age: 35.
Walter Thurmond III, CB, Giants. Age: 28.

These are some of the CBs left in the market. I like Culliver a lot. Cromartie would be good, but i think there is some bad blood here.

But CB1, what shall we do?

Relax. Step off that ledge, son.

BB wouldn't let go of Revis/Browner if he didn't already have a contingency plan in place.

I don't have confidence in their ability to draft CBs

Unless Logan Ryan and Malcolm Butler step up significantly next year. I have no clue what they're going to do.

We might trade for someone.

we made it to a superbowl with less in our secondary. Butler players like a young stud. This could end up being a good thing long term. That money means we can add depth in other places along the Dline as well.

Draft and/or trade to help our CB situation.

What would the Titans want for Jason McCourty?

Or if Tampa want to blow things up, Alterraun Verner?

They made it to those Superbowls because of Brady, not the secondary. Then they lost those Superbowls because they didn't have a secondary that could close it out. Last year the had a secondary that could and DID close it out.

Get Sheard and whoever else to turn the front seven in a monster...Get McCourty and back 4 to limit the damage...

And Give more weapons to Brady to just outscore the mofos....

BARELY

The only reason the secondary we had last year "closed it out" was because pete carroll made one of the WORST PLAYCALLS in history. If the seahawks run it, they win the game.

You must have missed the part where this secondary let the seahawks go the entire length of the field in like 20 seconds.

Must be high on Butler!

After that SB i know i am! I hope

Brady was 34 and we had a cupcake schedule in 2011.

A healthy Gronkowksi and better OL play would have helped in several seasons.

I would sign Culliver or whoever Belichick thinks is the best free agent corner remaining. Then I'd think about using one of my picks in the first three rounds there. Maybe even sign two free agents.
