What a pile of crap this offseason has been. There is literally no players or combination of players that we can sign to mitigate this disaster. Retaining McCourty is like having great wheel covers on a car without wheels.

Some of whats on here is hilarious, esp. before contract details are out. You want to be paying the end of a $70 mil deal to a 35 year old non QB? Maybe by then he'll be a S, cause he won't be the best CB 3 years from now, let alone 5. Are secondary is in a better position than before Talib arrived; and we still have the rest of FA to figure some of this out. AT worst, we prob have a down year, just get to the AFCC or something. Bill will never play for someone who he knows will be over the hill during the contract period. He's not going to change that now. Just wish they had a different contract in the first place. Hopefully the tampering pick is at least a 2nd; other wish I see a Kraft nasty divorce for Roger the crown to deal with.

The last two years of Revis deal are not guaranteed so they are meaningless. The deal is 3 years for 48 million. Or a little less than 16 million a year.

Or 3 million more than the Pats will pay McCourty over five. Frankly I would have rather kept Revis and let McCourty walk.

Okay but I'm pretty sure that 5 > 3.
