Revis: "I'm happy to be home, I never wanted to leave!"

Combined with the photo op with him and all the Jets stuff I'm sick. He was always planning to go back to the Jets again wasn't he? Way to screw us by making us think you actually wanted to be here Revis.

Didn't he just say like a month ago that he didn't miss the Jets?

Yeah, I honestly don't really thing this was even about the money. He was going "home" regardless. This has kind of been my feeling that past couple of days. The contract ended up being 5 years/70 million with 39 million guaranteed, so very manageable.

What about our 4th? good for him. He is dead for us.

It's called political-speak. I wouldn't read too much into it. I'm sure if Belichick was willing to break our salary cap on him, he'd still be a Patriot and he would be "really excited about it."

The Jets probably made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Alright guys lets think about this rationally.

Revis is only in it for the paycheck.

He's done with the patriots, for life.

The patriots are going to target him and EMBARRASS him next year. Tom was always pretty okay against him, and now tom had an ENTIRE YEAR to learn how revis plays.

The Jets were not a CB away from being out of the basement last year. this changes nothing

Those tampering charges, Goodell better actually do something, if not kraft better have a press conference.

What did you expect him to say? Maybe he isn't a robot and has mixed feelings- Patriots and Jets were both good options for him. Pats would have gotten him all things equal. Pats chose to pass. Don't hate Revis...he gave them more than a fair chance to sign him. Belichick chose the team's overall risk appetite over a player. It usually works...we'll see.

Not true. Pats never had a chance.
