So? He helped us win a championship - Now he's a free agent and he's entitled to be paid. I'm thankful that he came here in the first place.

I was responding to the notion that he suddenly wasn't Mevis because he came here for a year. I never said he wasn't entitled to get paid, just that going to the Jets for a couple million after making 100 million in your career isn't going to get me to buy that the Patriots weren't going to pay him well enough.

The funny thing is that we know the Jets are the ones trying to lure him away with a huge money offer. Which means that we know that all things being equal, he'd much rather be a Patriot. There's something to be said for that, no matter how this turns out.

Why do people think Revis owes this franchise something? An NFL player wants to make as much money as he can while he still can? Oh what a travesty. Let's all shun him for that.

Resigning with the Jets would be embarrassing for the Jets franchise in my mind. "Revis always loved New York, but he had to leave for a bit to have any chance in hell of actually winning."

Should we now set up a one year "Superbowl Abroad" program for any future Jets hall of famers? So they can come to NE to win a championship but still be a Jet?

Goodell better give us their frickin first round pick.

I get a kick out of the folks who say a player should take less to play here. It'd be interesting to see them in that situation.

My only problem with players who leave for more money comes when those players mouth off about the Pats after they leave.

Imagine how crazy the board will get when and if the Pats release or trade Brady when he's still playing well
