Excellent.

The D is now set.

The only issue will be Edelperson's ego since obviously Adam will now handle plays like "The Pass" on offense.

Brilliant move by the Patriots; waiting for the market to subside a couple years before bringing him in. Since he was not actually playing, his shadow salary did not count against the cap.
With Ventrone on the special teams coaching staff, the possibilities are fascinating.

It all makes sense now:

Patriots will trade or cut Browner
Patriots will allow Revis to go to the Jets
Patriots will likely cut Mayo

Expect to see Seward signed to a mega-deal within the hour.
Sign the beast!

Lifetime stats...46 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 interceptions...a friggin' GAME CHANGAH!

I wonder if he is aware of all the hub-bub this board had for him.

Seems to have done well for himself since leaving the league 5 years ago...

Life after football[edit]
In 2010, after undergoing surgery to repair a sports hernia that required intensive repairs to not only the abdominal area, but also to several tendons in the right leg, Seward retired from the NFL and took a job with the NFL's Representative Office in Mexico City. He also hosted a Spanish-language radio show in Mexico City aimed at promoting football in Latin America. In 2011, he received two top-level Spanish-language certifications from UNAM(Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico).

After achieving great success in Mexico, Seward was employed by the NFL's Representative Office in Beijing, China. In 2012, he served as a Chinese-language analyst for NFL football in China on Sina-Weibo.

Nothing like a Seward thread to lighten the move--LOL.

It turns out he is now football coach at Kyoto University; I think it will cost us at least three Hello Kitty backpacks and two Rainbow Rolls to get him. Thoughts?
No thanks. I'm holding out for the return of Shawn Crable.

We're buying Alaska?

I remember all the Seward buffoonery a few years ago. But I don't remember the context. Was it that a small segment of the people on here were pushing for NE to sign him ? Was this another "he will not make this team" type thread ?

You don't understand.

Seward is the kind of player who will enter a revolving door behind you and still come out ahead of you.

We missed an opportunity to go 57-0.
