In b4 people freak out that Bowe is overrated and we can't pay him and why are they letting Revis go for Bowe.

Actually wouldn't mind Bowe. Had 5 pretty decent years to start his career then Andy Reid and Alex Smith came to town.

Bowe's best year was when Charlie Weiss was calling plays and Cassel was the QB

I would consider him with an one year prove it deal. Veteran minimum plus incentives.

A few things.
  • His lack of production could be as much or more Alex Smith's fault as his.
  • Belichick has a ton of intel on the guy through Pioli, Weis, and Crennel.
  • We dismissed the signing of LaFell last year for many of the same reasons people wouldn't want Bowe.
If Bowe wants to be paid, then I would pass. For a low value/low risk deal, I would consider it.

His best year as a pro (2010 with 72 catches for 1162 yards and 15 TDs) was under Charlie Weis in a system similar to the one the Pats run.

With the NEP history of drafting WRs, no more rookie WRs unless they are low-rounders. Tier 2 WRs like LaFell FTW.

Yep just added that to my post while you were making this post.

no thanks

would prefer andre johnson tbh.

I'm more interested in Jordan Cameron but there would have to be a concussion clause in the deal. However I don't want anything until, the defense is intact.

It is a lie, he is not following. Just wasted my time going through his following list.

No, I just checked he is following.

No it isn't. I just checked. He unfollowed 9 accounts he was following. Maybe it was because someone Tweeted him and asked or something. But he currently has 174 accounts he is following. When I posted the OP, he had 183 including the Patriots.

EDIT: Other than his KC teammates, he seems to have also unfollowed all Chief related accounts.

Dwayne Bowe is like haing jamie collins play WR whilst wearing boxing gloves.

He didn't want to get caught up in the NFL investigation into the illegal tampering during the legal tampering period:p

Dwayne Bowe is one of my least favorite players in the NFL. I think very lowly of his talent level and effort level. His poor routes and hands cost Cassel at least 8 INTs during their time together in KC.

If we sign him, there better not be any guaranteed $$, because I doubt he'd make any sort of significant impact.
