McCourty to stay with Patriots!

We do know that Revis loves playing with McCourty and he considers him the best safety in football so it certainly helps from that angle.

Or he could join the worst secondary in football.

It seems like yesterday we were rolling out Ihedigbo, Chung, and Sergio Brown at safety.

Now we have an All-Pro entering his prime, an improved Chung, and Harmon entering his 3rd year.

Good news but I was hoping revis would agree first..

Great news! It is my belief, based on nothing in particular, that this is a prerequisite condition to Revis wanting to stay. The final flip of the unrolling red carpet, if you will.

Less expensive than I thought they'd get him for, and the last couple years are probably phantoms. Figure the average cap hit for the 4 real years is probably around $8m, and I'm happy with that.

Funny, my first thought was that if they signed DMC then they would also sign Revis, because they would need to know how Revis's contract was structured to see the cash they could pay other players.
