2015 Patriots Draft Contacts

Patriots worked out David Andrews. Sign me up for a 3 year starter in the SEC that is athletic and can play C or G, and is also motivated by not being invited to the combine, in the 6th round or so.

Used to love doing this back in the day along with Box o' Rocks. I'll try and get involved next year.
i was thinking of Box the other day, do you know what ever happened to him, he hasn't posted in a loooong time.

I think of him all the time. He hasn't posted in nearly 4 years, I believe. I used to PM him every year around draft time, but he never answered.

After years of reading his posts i got the impression he was not a young man. The way he just disappeared makes me think the worst.

This is now as up to date as I can make it. Thanks to @cstjohn17 who added hyperlinks for every prospect.

Can i also make a request. If you make a note of a contact by the Patriots with a prospect in another thread (for example the pro day thread), could you also put it into this thread so that when I update, I just have to go back through only the one thread. Many thanks.

Hmm... both the free agent and draft classes look very weak at Safety. If McCourty walks we may be seeing the Harmon era begin, not sure I like that.

I agree with you. I'm hoping mccourty takes a slight discount to stay with us.

He was playing there at the end of the game against Baltimore. BB seems to have faith in him.

Nick Caserio ran the UAB/Samford pro day (Tartt did not take part) and attended the Rutgers pro day
BB attended the Louisville pro day
Mike Lombardi attended USC pro day.

Pay attention to who BB is reported to be in contact with, three of the last seven first round (or first pick) prospects met with BB pre-draft: McCourty, Collins and Easley.

Very useful. Thanks for the link.

I don't recall the specifics, but I vaguely remember a lot of discussion on the past regarding the meaning of some of these contracts. IIRC, the conclusion reached was that in a lot of cases a visit was more for "further evaluation needed" purposes than as a clear gauge of level of interest. It would make sense that guys like Mayo and Hightower, who were pretty well known in terms of their attributes and skill sets, might not need as much face-to-face evaluation as guys like Collins and Easley. I'm not sure how McCourty fits into that.

I mentioned this performance in the pro day thread:

Western Oregon wide receiver Tyrell Williams (6-3 1/2, 204) ran the 40 in 4.42 and 4.44 seconds. He had a 39 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-7 broad jump. He did the 20-yard short shuttle in 4.11 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.55 seconds. Williams is a potential free-agent pickup for a team following the draft.

Well according to Rob Rang, he's visiting the Patriots.
