I don't think he'll be a top pick for BB. If he has interest in Coates it's probable in the 64-96 range.
Coates had a lot of body catches at his pro day. Huge red flag.

I'm told Ameer Abdullah looked terrific in drills and was outstanding catching the ball. Sources say he presented himself as a legitimate downfield pass-catching threat.
Hardison runs a 4.84 at his pro day. Would have been the best 40 of any lineman +300lbs by .15.
So yeh, things are getting real.
Some reports have him running at 4.74, which is Aaron Donald territory, but a second time of 5.00 probably squashes that. His vert was pretty terrible at 22.5, but that might have something to do with his knee.
@BDenny29: Marcus Hardison weighs 305 now. Wants to get down to 295. Prefers 3 tech
By the way, I saw 25.5 for Harrison's vert, not 22.5. Still not very good though.
yeh, I have now seen both numbers bumped around. 25 sounds really poor, and its not great, but vert isnt the biggest measuring stick for me. A lot of really solid/great Dline guys have shown really poorly there before, and not just typical NT's.

We need to have some guesses on what Hardison will do at his pro day. I'm going with:
4.84 forty
1.69 10 yard
33.5 vert
115 broad
7.31 3cone
Those would be terrific numbers and would get people talking.
Gil Brandt says 8'11" for Hardison's broad jump. That's better. By the way the Patriots were at the pro day.
tony pauline on Hardison:
"Marcus Hardison, who did not participate at the Combine because of an injury, stood out and was a star at Arizona State's pro day. Hardison measured 6-3 1/4, 305 pounds, then ran his 40s in times of 4.92 and 4.95, though some watches had him in the 4.8s. His 10 split was in the 1.70 range. Hardison's short shuttle timed at 4.68 with a 7.29 three-cone.
Hardison looked terrific in line drills, which was run by the Minnesota Vikings, as scouts commented on his exceptional quick twitch muscles. Coaches in attendance remarked that had he been able to run at the Combine, Hardison would've ranked as one of the top overall performers on the defensive line. Yesterday, Hardison met privately with the Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers."
