Makes me so happy. Simply having a beer with the man would be life changing.

Is that the same shirt on day 1 and day 3?? If so,
Looks like he's working so hard he didn't have time to change his shirt ..
Either that or he's like the rest of us, picking it up off the floor, sniffing it to determine if it is too rancid and then putting it on.....

That's called 'going green' by minimizing the number of times you have to wash something.....

At least we can see what he wears when he has free choice -- no league rules, no girlfriend along to not embarrass.

Can't stop laughing at that first pic. DL 98 seemingly enjoying the view from behind BB combined with the look on BBs face is amazing. Reminds me of this gem for some reason. tumblr_m6mb42XR1u1rsi7qbo1_1280.jpg
The timeless art of seduction.

This is how BB is constantly ahead of the football innovation curve. He spends time with numerous college coaches during the offseason learning new formations and game management strategies. His focus and interest level in football is legendary...and I guarantee he doesn't even consider it as work one bit.

This is one of the things I admire most about BB. He's the best football coach in the world, perhaps history. Yet he's trying to learn every day, even asking for advice and info from coaches a level down.

Some NFL head coaches have massive egos and think there's nothing to learn from the amateurs. BB is down there digging into the details with them. He's open to new ideas from everywhere. It's quite remarkable and rare in this world.

The first quote about Belichick is from a Boston political columnist by the name of Joan Vennochi who rarely wrote about sports. Belichick, she noted, wasn't "glib or glitzy. At press conferences he sometimes seems a little goofy and is often way too grim. But he is a leader without the swagger, selfishness, and pomposity that so many men in business, politics and sports embrace as an entitlement of their gender and position."

The second quote comes from Peter Richmond, a writer from Cleveland. "What's interesting about him, and was judged a weakness in Cleveland, was that he did not play any games. There's nothing fake and there never was. He is what he is. There is no pretense, and he is utterly authentic in a world where, because of television, there is more and more which is inauthentic. What's troubling about all this is that a lot of people are more comfortable with the inauthentic, if it is reassuring, than they are with the truth, if it is not reassuring. He doesn't play the role of the coach. Instead he is the coach."

Bill Belichick is our 12th man.. will not shatter any noise records, but when he talks many listen.

th

Was he looking at WRs at Clemson?

He's been friends with Nick Saban of Alabama for many years. They have common interests and philosophies regarding football. In fact, Alabama's football team runs an offense quite similar to New England's in both formation and terminology.

But the SEC is the powerhouse of College Football right now, and it's where an NFL coach should be looking for strong, smart players. That's not to say there aren't great players at other colleges. there are. Look at Rutgers and Kent State, for example. :) But the SEC is a tough conference and players who can excel there will usually have an easier transition to the NFL.

I'm partial to Hinds Community College.

I'm sure you guys know this. But, Clemson is an ACC school. Same with FSU and Miami. Two other schools where he likes to get players out of.

Agreed, everyone is on the analytics bandwagon. BB know you have to see the kids in person and evaluate. They should change the coach of the year award to the 2nd Best coach of the year behind BB

Right, the ineligible receiver scheme was out of college. Harbaugh storming onto the field to rant about about the unfairness of the universe, thus giving the Pats a free 15 yds in a close playoff game, has to be a highlight of 2014. I bet Belichick planned Harbaugh's implosion as surely as he plans on Edelman beating Simon twice in a row with the same move.

I didn't recognize him without the hoodie on.
