I've already quoted you saying something negative about Amendola as a person. In fact, I put it in bold. You can try the run around with other people but I see you for what you are Brady6.

Amendola's production has not lived up to expectation and he's being grossly overpaid for that. Unsurprisingly, you're not willing to acknowledge his importance in the Super Bowl run.

Don't bother replying. I won't respond.
Cuts his sorry ass? He is a sorry ass player once again has nothing to do with him personally. I don't know him and unlike you and some of the others I don't become emotionally involved with players I have never met, players that wouldn't give you the time of day in fact just cause they are on my tv on a Sunday. I base everything I say and think on performance on the field. I also don't claim to see forum Internet handles for what they are" cause that just sounds stupid. As far as not responding good, I actually would have preferred you never quoted my post to begin with your self righteous BS. You are off to my ignore list cause honestly I don't really like anything you say on here it's all soap opera football fan nonsense.

Don't bother quoting anything I post in the future you'll be wasting your time.

I say Amendola

Guaranteed to quote my posts within 60 minutes. Their is more evidence to prove that than there is against Aaron Hernandez.

LMFAO

Who here wants to bet that Brady 6 will never understand the irony of that post?
My lust is for speaking to reality unfortunately the primary stray from reality on this board revolves around Amendola. Let me assure you though if there was the level of stupidity that I see for Amendola discussions for any player I would take the same stance and be just as firm about it. Don't misunderstand what my issue is, it is with people having irrational and baseless opinions on players and what they have accomplished.

I feel a tinge of sorrow for @Brady6. The few good points he makes are continually drowned out by his chest beating and simple want to be seen as an impartial authority.

It's perfectly okay to hold the position that Amendola is replaceable and he hasn't lived up to his contract whilst acknowledging he was particularly important and a valuable contributor during the playoffs.

Don't get carried away a trained monkey could have caught the 51 yard Edelman pass so we are talking about a WR who had 78 yards in 3 playoff games.

Meet Max. His agent has been in touch with Nick Caserio this week. Played the slot for the San Diego zoo. Hungry for a roster spot and willing to sign for the veteran minimum. Word from the zoo is that he's more durable than Amendola as well. Seems like a great value and a typical New England signing.

And as asked of you 100 times. Would you please share who is posting irrational baseless opinions on players accomplishments?

Are you serious? Just stop. My iPhone is overheating from you quoting my posts so many times.

I don't know of anyone here who believes Amendola has lived up to his contract and everyone wants him to restructure. However most here also realize he made huge plays for them when it mattered most and appreciate his role in bringing them a championship.

The $2.4M will hit the 2016 cap as dead money unless you pay him $5.5M for 2016. It is a difference of $4.5M in cap money if you cut him no matter how you slice it.

Light bulb moment! I see what you're getting at, and yeah, you have a good point there (and maybe Miguel's page is more complicated than I thought!). If they cut him now, they take 3.6 against the cap this year and they're done. If they cut him June 1, they take 1.2 this year and 2.4 next, and they're done.

But if he plays this year, it's 5.7 against the cap THIS year, but there will still be that 2.4 dead money on the books next year. So really, keeping Amendola this year costs a minimum of 8.1 against the cap, spread out over the next two years (5.7+2.4).

Mea culpa. That little nugget escaped me.

Yeah, he takes a haircut or he's almost certainly gone. The Brian Hartline interest suddenly makes sense to me.

What exactly were these huge plays? Can you name them for me I would like to go watch them again cause I must be overlooking them all.

If Amendola is someone you want to keep so badly and who meant so much to this team winning why would he restructure his deal?

Precisely. But apparently that is a crime to one poster. You know, Wes Welker gets absolutely killed here for not coming though when it mattered but having great RS stats - which mean nothing. Then DA does the opposite and he gets killed. You cant have it both ways.

And who cares what DA makes. BB is a smart guy, he is not going to waste money on a player if he can fix it. And even if you want to say he did waste money on DA, they won the Super Bowl because of him, not in spite of him.

I might be in the minority, but I'm not tired of it at all. I find it wildly entertaining. Breaks up the lull of the offseason. I don't think people are pimping Amendola these days as @Brady6 claims, but I do find it interesting that people give him a free pass on atrocious production. He did play well in 2 of 3 playoff games and he should be recognized for helping our team hang a banner, but that shouldn't be a factor in the teams decision moving forward.

I'm still not completely sold on his rapport with Brady. I remember a critical 3rd and 9 late in the third quarter of the super bowl where him and Brady clearly weren't on the same page and Tom had this look on his face like "I wanna tear you a new one but this is the last game of the year and I have bigger fish to fry."
That happened multiple times with every receiver on this team this year.

I have become emotionally involved with players I've never met since 1960. I think it's called being a fan.

You think it's funny making funny of people with mental illness using these illnesses to **** on people? I know some others who have used illnesses to **** on other people and the little thing called karma came back to them. Keep it up! It really reflects well on who you are I'm sure your parents would be proud.

Good night!
