Suh to Dolphins a done deal?

are they going to release starks?? would take him on the cheap.

Yeah, talk about an unheralded star. He and Odrick are both very good players; not sure one Suh is worth losing Starks and Odrick. But gotta sell those tickets.

If the Patriots can't reach a deal with their franchise CB within the next few days, would part of the plan be to sign a franchise player on the DL?

How could the Patriots fit Brady and Revis at their numbers last year under the cap? Two players don't break your cap. You do have to make concessions elsewhere though.
Wallace's cap hit last year was more than 17 million I believe. Brady and Revis together were about 21 million.

This would definitely be the type of move the Dolphins would do

A lot of money. But yikes, we better put some serious resources into the interior OL if Suh ends up in Miami.

This is nothing but terrible news for the Pats. The Jets are still easily the worst team in the division and will be but the Bills and Dolphins will be strong as hell. Suh was the exact kind of elite player we didn't want in our division.

On a side note, go get Starks BB!

Dumb move

Assuming it's true, this is not good news. I usually laugh at teams breaking the bank on one player (franchise QB's excluded), but Suh is a dynamic defender, and I don't like the thought of Brady being subjected to his cheap shots twice a year.

He rarely gets to Brady when he plays against us though.

Awesome....more cheap shots headed to Brady....all i am worried about because MIA will be lucky to win 8 games

If turning around a perennial loser franchise were as easy as signing a big ticket free agent, more teams would successfully do it. The opposite is usually the case. Bad teams chase big-ticket free agents and remain bad.

Does Philbin strike you as the kind of coach who will command Ndamukong Suh's attention?

I'm worried about our o-line playing against 3 d-lines that will just beat us up and more importantly beat Brady up. There's nothing wrong with me feeling uncomfortable about dominant players coming to our division like Lesean and Suh. Before you talk about 'big ticket', what exactly is Revis then? He's as big ticket as they get and we got him..... then went on to win a SB.

The key difference there being we were already an AFC championship game contender, THEN added Revis. We weren't asking Revis to turn us from a 6-10 or 7-9 team into a contender.

We need more resources in the knee brace department

I also like the dogs in your avatar. Are they all yours?

Sorry to digress on this thread. I lost my 14-year old yellow lab three months ago... I need a new one.

It may not happen
Suh is dangerously close to disciplinary action exceeding fines for his repeated cheap shot offenses

I want no part of Suh in the AFCE.
