FWIW, Auburn RB Corey Grant reportedly ran a blazing fast 40:

There were reports that Grant had previously been clocked as low as 4.18, so it's not a total shock.

Auburn pro day=my binky Reese Dismukes might be 1 of our picks

Reports coming in that BB is hott on Coates.. Looks like the horrible WR drafting trend continues for BB .. Hopefully he's using Coates as a screen to deflect from his true interest and that being for Marshall or Grant.. Can't take another WR bust with " Pan Hands " especially @ potential 1st rounder as i've heard Coates maybe.

You and me both Mayo! But BB is there himself and there's a couple of pix one in particular where Coates is shaking BB's hand and has what looks like to be lil kid in candy store happiness and gives the impression he's getting some good words and genuine interest from Bill. Im hoping one of two scenarios.. #1 BB is just interested in the Coates athleticism and doing his routine " Due Diligence " incase Coates falls ends up being a " Luxury " pick or #2 BB has interest in Nick Marshall, Grant or Dismukes and is putting on a hell of a show by putting Sammie thru a hell of a work out/appearing to everyone he's deeply set on Coates just as a cover. I maybe just making something outta nothing, but the Pats have appeared @ a few other pro day's and BB wasn't at those.. We shall see. Here's to hoping for the best!

No-one should be surprised that BB is interested in an athletic beast like Coates - he's looked at those type of players consistently over the past decade.

This team has bigger needs then wr. They need to use their first 3 picks on the OL and DL.

You don't just draft for need.

And as for WR, they dressed three in the SB and one of them might be a cap casualty. If they don't foresee a future for Tyms, Boyce or Dobson, then they definitely have s need.

The overly active and not to mention VERY MOUTHY , Hawianfan lol. Ahh no, i didn't. I live in cali and don't get much if any Auburn related coverage.. And if he caught a few balls at the pro-day doesn't mean a damn thing cuz in the actual games thru his college career he's been drops magoo! So until he does it consistently in ACTUAL GAMES THAT MATTER he'll keep the title of " Pan Hands " . I dunno why u come off with the attitude?.. I'm not the only one who said he has " Pan Hands " Pro scouts, NFL execs and people in general have said that because it's true guy. He maybe a hell of an athlete, but until he hones his craft ( Which is Wide Receiver = Catchn The Ball! ) he isn't worth a 1st or 2nd rd pick! We've had plenty drafted WR bust and don't need to continue the streak! Don't ya think?

I'd be happy if BB takes Coates, he's explosive, and we don't have that in our WR corps. The drops can be fixed. I remember David Givens had some major drop issues as a rookie, worked on them, and became really dependable. Probably was Brady's 2nd favorite target after Branch in the early 2000's. Also Coates seems to be a really great person. Saw this on YouTube, enjoy.

Just because BB shows interest and probably respects him as a person and player doesn't mean he'll be our top pick. I remember Tebow and him having a very public dinner in the north end.... with Tebow holding a football on the corner at the end Of it if I'm not mistaken.
