I have noticed that it has become very choppy for me, sometime to a point I have to leave and come back. Trying to figure out if it is on my end or if others are having issues. I have a new computer so I hope it is not on my end.

Absolutely. First thing, go to your options and get rid of SIGNATURES. half the people have GIFs in them and that will eat bandwidth, and depending on browser settings, might keep kicking in your virus-checker, etc.

Also, CLOSE the ad at the top of every page when you go there. It's a pain-in-the-arse, but that ad eats bandwidth, along eith all the other talking, moving ads all over the place.

It's working flawlessly for me right now

Only in posting stuff.

I'm going to be streamlining some things on here so I'm aware of this. The board and the site is going to change quite a bit by the end of March as I'm working on a much cleaner design and layout which will extend sitewide - and I'm aware of the autoplay issue that the ad networks can't seem to figure out I don't want. So hang in there with me a little longer on this.

And for the delay with posting, I'm still looking into trying to figure out that issue. I'm guessing that will hopefully be fixed by the end of this week.

I am not having any problems but I really appreciated your effort so thank you.

im also having issues. when we switched to the new format/design everything worked fine until recently.

The ads slow things waaaaaaaay down. And Shockwave or some other script stops running half the time. I've kinda stopped posting much because of it.

Well, that and the fact that the PATRIOTS WON THE SUPERBOWL!!! ;)

Shockwave keeps crashing on me also. Mozilla always requires updates to the add on's for me and shockwave no longer will correct itself. I'd thought it was a result of me running windows NT which is no longer updated or supported.

Beats me.:(

I had posted this in a sub forum, but when I'm on my wireless, it essentially hangs on me and I stop getting network activity. I have to disconnect and reconnect my wireless to move forward (and it stops everything dead, even another browser open at the same time).

When I'm hooked in (via wire) it seems fine. and this issue is recent as well. I'll try disabling signatures, but I feel it is some ad that is causing the issue.

You dont charge a dime and I assume the ads help some with your cost.

Thanks for the forum.

On my computer at work sometimes get slow as hell to even scroll down the page and the memory usage for google chrome goes up to 2GB, so I have to kill the process, and I usually have only 2 or 3 tabs opened.

The site works great for me. No issues. Everything loads fast.

I often get a dialog box saying "Internet Explorer had to close the web page you were Viewing".

Then I get the "Windows is checking for a solution to the problem" thing.

Then the web page reloads, usually at the top. Running IE11 , win7Pro64, happens at main pages and in threads. Sometimes IE locks up for good and I have to kill it with Task Manager. Just an FYI, I love the site.

Not sure if people are still having this issue. When I load up a page in ie, it consumes over a gig of memory and 30-50% of CPU usage and slows everything way down to the point its unusable. I know Ian said he was redesigning the site and that might help. Very unusable as of now.
