I expect there to be a lot of activity with the Jaguars being reported. The whole city is buzzing with how much money they have to spend. Given that they just brought Idzik in, I doubt they do is wisely. But that's the Jags for ya.

Is there really a team called the Jaguars in the NFL?

Fans of the Jaguars, Raiders and Browns should be very busy evaluating a host of signings by their teams this off season. The same is true of the Jets fans, but they'll just assume they've locked up a Super Bowl victory, as always.

With the hiring of Idzik being the very first unwise move.

Good lord, they're a TEAM? I always assumed Jaguar was some kind of NFL code word for a second bye week.

I'd love it if these teams that kind of suck and don't spend money started spending money. Less good players for the teams we really compete with.

McCown to the Browns

I don't understand the McCown. Out of football a few years ago - suddenly sought after by many teams ?

Cleveland - I weep for you.

Cleveland has an addiction to winning high draft picks then blowing them. McCown will continue that long standing tradition.

I think that the NFL, like everything else, is cyclical. Some have already speculated that it will go back to D + running sooner rather than later. Especially when considering that true elite QBs are rarer than some want to believe. And Cleveland may indeed have the building blocks to have a good D and such.

But McCown... Yikes.

Back to "our" team. Who do we believe will be our LaFell ? The under the radar, lowish payroll guy that ends up helping.

how does mccown keep getting jobs while tim tebow cant even get a tryout?

Isnt McCown just an older and more expensive version of Hoyer? All tangibles, lacking in physical tools?

And didnt they bench Hoyer half way through the season. This franchise gets none of my sympathy.

They will be sorry they didn't sign Hoyer. Did they even watch McCown play last year?
