fWIW, hat was purely speculation, barring Mike packaging inside information as guess work.
Exactly, because the only choices they have are Percy "the idiot" Harvin and some draft pick.Yeah let's pass on the guy and draft a unproven talent.
Your entitled to your opinion as I am mine.
Are you honestly saying you wouldn't want Harvin at any cost?
Harvin? Please no. You would replace Edelman in that goal line lineup?
Why poison a championship lockerroom with a walking time bomb? Who also wants to get paid.....
If we are going to test the salary cap, do it with Revis, McCourty, Gostkowski and a DT. Then draft a slew of OL's. Fix what's broken, don't poison what works.
Percy Harvin is like a third nipple as far as usefulness. And a cancerous one at that.

I remember this board saying the same things about Moss giving up on routes, not going full strength.
Only playing when the ball is for him.
Just saying I wouldn't count it out.
Dobson has more talent and physical ability. Thats it.
Yet AD was a healthy scratch while KT played for weeks before KT was claimed off waivers when they tried to get him over to the PS.

A) There is some debate as to how healthy Dobson actually was.
B) KT had also been a healthy scratch in that stretch, albeit not as often as Dobson.
C) The team actually released KT, so it seems pretty clear who they preferred. Time will tell if they were right.

Re a, open question, we'll never know.
Re b, shows the two were on equal footing, AD no clear edge. KT was getting more time, perhaps due to your pt a.
Re c, check link above. With AD health etc seemed KT would be more likely to clear waivers. I was sorry to see him go, would have been happier to see him stick around and Dobson go. As things turned out I think KT would've made more contributions to the team in the rest of the year than Dobson did.
Dobson may very well have not been healthy at the time. KT peaked early in 2013 then had issues with injuries and didn't do anything more. Dobson was having a better year later into the season.Yet AD was a healthy scratch while KT played for weeks before KT was claimed off waivers when they tried to get him over to the PS.
