2015 NFL Veteran Cuts Thread

Harry Douglas is interesting. I would bring him in to see if he has anything left. He had over 1000 yards in 2013. Any reason for the down year?

They haven't been able to get to the play offs with the cast they have so I can't blame them for being aggressive in retooling.

owe next year? I thought the dolphins would trade him or release him

Seems like they're doing what the Panthers did last year. The only relevant receivers they got are Wallace and Landry (whose going to be a nice sleeper in fantasy this year ). Gotta think they're going WR in the draft...

I think around 10 mil? Maybe more? Don't think either side likes each other, last I heard Dolphins are trying to trade him.

So just to recap. Pats can now talk to someone like Dockett in advance of making their Wilfy decision.

Yes I know he's been playing DE and is light back at DT.

not sure if Darnell Dockett can still play but I hope the pats take a look at him but I still would like to see wilfork back I think Dockett is more of a pass rusher then a run stopper at lest he was

Why would you think he can't play? he suffered the injury in August more than enough time to get back.

dockett is a clown. no thanks

i think vince is getting cut. doesnt make any sense paying him so much at that age.

Barry Cofield was released.

Wilfork being cut wouldnt shock me. I want him back but not at his price.

his getting up there in age he will be 34 but I would still like to see the pats take a look at him

The Dolphins owe him $12.1 million next season but would be on the hook for $9.6 million of that, so cutting him only saves them $2.5 million this season. If he is not cut this season it would seem likely that he would next because his dead money would drop to $4.4 million and his salary goes up to $13.7 million. What were the Dolphins thinking?

They opt for McCown over Hoyer, typical Browns.

Escape that dump Brian and make em pay.

Don't want to see Hoyer in the AFCE because the QBs there are SO bad.

Hoyer is nothing special.

It is either the day before the start of the league year (March 9th) or the first day of the league year (March 10th).
