I think one big key this camp and preseason is going to be Dobson. The Patriots drafted him because he's exactly what they needed, a big, tall kid with great hands that can make plays on the perimeter. Instead his development was slowed by injuries and obviously there must have been some frustration that lead to whatever was going on internally that caused the issues of which we heard conflicting reports of last season.
Watching the highlights of this kid at Marshall man...it's just maddening. You wait all this time for them to draft "that guy" and he comes in and shows some promise with a decent first season but an injury sets him back and essentially ruins his second. If he could be the guy they thought they drafted, this is a pretty solid group with Edelman, LaFell, Amendola, and Dobson complimented by Gronkowski. Wish this kid could get it together, because as I said, who he was IS exactly what they need. Sucks to think one of your solutions is already on your roster and he just isn't playing to his potential. Hopefully we see signs of a turnaround this preseason.
