Are you partially rooting for Rex now?

Not even a little bit...

I'm not going to root for a division rival (if you can call the Bills that) ever

That being said I think Rex is a horrible head coach (he might know Xs and Os on D but he's nothing short of an embarrassment to the game of football - and I wouldn't mind if he stopped making such a mockery of the game.

I'd just as soon see Rex step back out of the spotlight and give someone else a chance to be a head coach

I could definitely see the humor in it. Any time a former Jet wins a Super Bowl and those lowlife scumbags are unhappy, its a good day.

I imagine that would be Tony Dungy, John Harbaugh, Chuck Pagano or whomever reported the ball issue to the NFL, etc., etc. etc...
Not to mention a guy named Mangini.

The Bills are my least favorite team. And that was before they hired the buffoon.

No. No. and No.

The Bills have always been the underdog team I rooted for every time they weren't playing the Pats. I feel for their fans and openly hoped that they would get to the playoffs. Their fans deserve it...... AND then they hired Rex..

I think he is the luckiest HC in the league to get as far as he did in those first 2 years. The last 4 showed his real colors. The Bills just flat out made a big mistake. They would have been better off with Bowles, and I could have rooted for them then.

Rex is a VERY flawed HC, who hasn't taken any accountability for his mistakes. In that way he is very much like the mediots who protect him. Rex hasn't seen anyone he WOULDN'T throw under the bus, players, coaches, bosses, etc. With Rex at the helm, I can't get by my distain for him, and can't wait for the "Bills suck" thread to get started.

I can't understand why so many of the mediots were promoting him as a great HC candidate for someone once the Rats fired him. They pointed to teams who already had offenses but whose defenses needed work.

So hire him as your defensive coordinator if you need your defense fixed, but he has done nothing to give any indication he has what it takes to be a HC, and you get the added bonus of having a loud-mouthed buffoon as the face of your franchise.

I will thoroughly enjoy the mediots with egg all over their faces.

I hope buffalo spends the next 10 years being terrible and they move to Toronto and it's all rex's fault

Put me down as a "no".

No, I rexpect you to lose! (as the laser is tickling his toe)

True, it's not like we can hang out drinking delicious whiskey and the tastiest Guinness in the world in Dublin. Oh, wait.

That stuff about the Guinness isn't true any more, unfortunately. It's just another place to drink a fizzy black version of Bud Light. Still, Dublin is great. It's full of ... you know, Irish people.

Rex Ryan is awesome.......I don't allow the fact that he coached the Jets or the Bills skew my opinion of the person......he adds to the entertainment aspect of the game.

What I don't like is that a guy like Todd Bowles showing up and getting the team to focus and play to their potential......I was hoping for another clown

I can't root for a guy that makes a foot-fetish video with his wife....that made him a joke.

not even a tiny little bit. **** rex ryan.

Plus he is going to change their defense from one that is stingy allowing points and good at taking the ball away to one that allows fewer yards, has "swagger" at the expense of allowing more points and getting next to no takeaways.

In 3 years people will be saying that Rex is a great defensive mind who failed because the GM gave him no talent, and I'll be sitting here saying he ruined the talent.

Hey! Let's not be saying things we can't take back. Bash Rex all you want, but leave the Guinness alone.

Rooting? No.

Occasionally amused? Maybe.

Rex's broken clock moment in phoo-phooing the whole Deflategate nonsense notwithstanding, he is still Rex Ryan, blowhard extraordinaire. He's amusing only when he shoots himself in the (ahem) foot.

One of his first moves was to hire Richie Incognito. Enough said.

Bills-Jets games next year will be asteroid games.

Yeah, if anything's going to get me banned, it's this! But truth will out.

Guinness in Ireland was way, way better than anything you could get on the mainland (Liverpool excepted) when I first visited in the 80s. Not so any more -- any time after 2007, so far as I remember.

Here's a thread of Irish people discussing the issue -- it seems to be pretty generally believed.

Still, I had a bottle of Guinness West Indies Porter that was pretty good. So perhaps there's hope:
