Let's throw the jinx out right now.

The actual schedule hasn't been released, and we've known about the opponents for some time, but it just hit me this morning that we could go undefeated next season.

Patriots 2015 opponents finalized

2015 Home Opponents
Bills
Dolphins
Jets
Jaguars
Titans
Eagles
Redskins
Steelers

The division games are always tricky, and I expect the Bills to be better with Rex Ryan coaching that defense. But they still don't have a QB.

Jags, Titans, Redskins are layups. The Eagles and Steelers will be tough, but nothing we couldn't handle, especially at home.

2015 Road Opponents
Bills
Dolphins
Jets
Colts
Texans
Cowboys
Giants
Broncos

I'd expect us to run up the score against the Colts 67-0 or something. We probably score at least 2 TDs with Brady throwing a ****ing beach ball. It won't matter. **** that drunk Irsay and his bunch of whiny cry-babies.

The Cowboys are worse at home for some reason so that game isn't as tough. The Broncos will be losing some people and Peyton is good for a few choke pick-6s. The Giants are our kryptonite, but overall they're not a good team, and we're due.

I know it's a dream. And I have this dream every year, even before 2007. People point to the 18-1, but we've also gone 17-2 twice now. And we also won 21 games in a row spread over 2 seasons with a Super Bowl win. We've been a lot closer than just that one time. And imagine rolling into San Fran for the Super Bowl undefeated with a chance to cement the greatest dynasty ever.

Or we'll lose in week 1 and I'll feel like a jackass for making this thread. But I will never give up that dream. And it's hilarious and ridiculous to even have this dream. Only with BB and Brady could you dream of it happening in the modern era.

That just hit you this morning? Some of us have been talking about it for 3 weeks and 2 days. :D

I am right there with you.

Imagine the hype surrounding that Giants game if we role in 10-0 or something later.

Our team as of SB49 given next year's schedule would have a chance.

But let's see what the off-season brings. If we re-sign our key guys, have a good draft, get first RD play out of Easley, and add a key free agent or two then maybe we have a somewhat realistic chance rather than a yearly pipe dream backed up by a few good runs at it.

Giants? Why? Before you cite 2007 and 2011, note that, other than their long snapper, the only player left is Manning.

The Giants are straight a** now days! I hope the Pats put an unforgettable whopping on them too next season! Undefeated will be awesome! But 15-1,14-2, or 13-3 will be alright with me!

I know it is the slow point of the offseason and I am not saying this to diss the original poster, but it is threads like these that makes everyone hate us. 19-0 is a pipe dream until someone actually does it. Talking about it like it a realistic possibility just makes us look entitled.

I hate this undefeated talk bull$hit. It's just smacks of a 12 year old kid with no real understanding of football.

Remember when I first got the internet and was in the aol football chat room many years ago. There was this Chiefs fan that proclaimed 19-0 every year. He was so arrogant and annoying and also the first ever troll I encountered the internet.

I'm over the perfect season. Heck, if Belichick & Brady never win another game they still go down the greatest as far as I'm concerned, but a second repeat would be a far greater legacy cementer anyway...

I don't care about regular season 16-0. It's nice, but not something I want to hang my hat on, especially if you don't finish it! The record I want every year is undefeated in the playoffs. Thought of this, this morning. Pats went 10-0 in playoff games from '01 to '05. Will that run ever be duplicated?

The Giants have a QB who threw for 30 touchdowns last year with weapons like Ruben randle, Odell beckham and victor Cruz, all of whom are capable of getting a 1000 yards. They also have a solid running game and a pretty good secondary.

I'll take 15-4 and and hoisting a shiny trophy no problem.

Any team could go 19-0. True story.

Sorry, but they suck. They were 6-10, lost 7 in a row including to the freaking Jaguars. If we're afraid of them, then we're in big trouble. Respect them, yes, like every team. Fear them? No way.
