Doesn't have to be the Cowboys, theoretically. Could be anyone. Pretty much any team in possession of the tape could tell Dez "either sign with us or we leak this tape to the public and you get suspended for the next decade".

My guess, though, would be that the tape doesn't exist and someone's just leaking this non-story to scare off some prospective FA bidders.

You should have just ignored it then, instead of being a drama queen with this type of post. Just because you don't want to talk about it in your next "idle thought" edition doesn't mean it can't be posted on the board. "Rumors" are discussed on the board every ****ing day, free agent rumors, draft rumors, contract extension rumors, game plan rumors, go back and read some of your posts if you want to talk hypercritical because you participate in plenty of "rumor" discussions.

Seems to be a lot of people riding around this board on their high horse lately, might want to take a minute for some self reflection before you fall off and hurt yourselves.

Breaking News: Outside The Lines just demonstrated how much bad stuff can happen in a bathroom in 90 seconds. Using video of Freddie Krueger, Micheal Myers, and Ben Roethlisbeger they convinced me that some really bad sh.t can go down in 90 second or less.

ESPN must be going crazy with this unconfirmed rumor that's been leaked by unnamed sources . It's probably their lead story of the night. There most likely are ex-players on Sports Center right now ranting and raving about how they think Bryant is guilty of whatever it is he supposedly did.

No worries, rumor is the tape has been mailed to the NFL. By the time it makes it up from the mailroom Dez will be retired.
