Are you partially rooting for Rex now?

Here's a suggestion. Anytime you start to feel like you can relate with another team because the coach seems like a "swell guy", go out and get yourself a friend because there's no reason to want to pull for Rex just because he entertains you.

I'm rooting for Rex's Bills, the Jets, and the Dolphins to all be tied at about 5-11, with a combined record of 0-6 against the Patriots. Does that count?

I've never heard Rex say anything but positive things about Belichick. For the most part, Bills fans seem like dedicated, long suffering, small town folks who love their team; the ones I know admit being jealous of Patriots' success but don't talk sh*t about them.
Would love to see them humiliate the Jets 2x/year. Any year that Patriots don't win it all, I'd be fine with the Bills winning it.

Bills, maybe....Rex, absolutely not !!!

So, just to get this right, it's about 60/40 in favor of the Rex and the Bills, right?

No.

And, seriously OP, WTF?

Is there any chance that your response was written in extreme irony, and you will in fact find it satisfying to watch the Jets fans crumble if Rex wins with the Bills? I suspect there's more than meets the eye here.

No because the Bills are the only team who could be competition if they find a somewhat decent QB (which seems unlikely). And it is Rex Ryan.

However I wouldn't mind seeing the Green Beans get slaughtered by Rex so long as there is a confortable lead in the division. Anything to make Jets fans a depressed bunch.

I would never root for Rex and Bills, but I will say this for him, he was not one to accuse Belichick of cheating or imply that Bill and the Patriots did anything underhanded - unlike a number of his contemporaries in the NFL.

Gonna be a L-O-N-G off-season ...
True, it's not like we can hang out drinking delicious whiskey and the tastiest Guinness in the world in Dublin. Oh, wait.

If Rex went to Atlanta, I would be rooting for him as hard as anyone. I wanted him to go to Atlanta and turn that team into a Super Bowl team just to stick a dagger in the Jets' fans hearts. Now I want him to lose every game.

I don't hate the Bills as much as the Jets, but I still don't like them.

@BradyFTW! beat me to it.

The Bills are in the same division as the Patriots.

Why would any fan of any team root for a division opponent to succeed?

That's not even taking into account that the Bills are a much better team than the Jets at this point either, and therefore a more formidable opponent.

I would rather suffer living under Sharia Law and with 15 wives than root for Rex and the Bills.

Always had a soft spot in my heart for the Bills and I like Rex so it'll be fun to root for them against the Jets and the Dolphins but I'll be hoping for a loss to every other team.

My rooting for the Bills goes to the point that if their first game is NOT against the pats, I want them to win decisively. If it is a quality opponent, even better. If the Jets also loose the first game decisively, even better. Best case scenario, bills play Jets and Bills crush the Jests. Watching the hearts of of Jets fans everywhere getting crushed would be amazing.

In all honesty, I think Rex is not a good head coach, but I think he is better than the last year of his Jets tenure showed him to be.
