Yes, please.

Harvin is a straight up playmaker, how can one say no.

I would actually do it if the money is low. McDaniels would make him an unstoppable 3rd/passing down RB.

Dump Amendola. Pickup Harvin.

I agree. He would be an upgrade over the Edelman injury insurance policy. I would not go through all the machinations speculated to keep his waaaaaaay too high salary, but replacing Amendola does not hurt much.

Is Percy Harvin a FA? He's definitely a playmaker with a injury history. That said if the Patriots are looking for a proven WR incase Aaron Dobson doesn't pan out I think Torrrey Smith would be a nice consolation Decent Size outside WR with Speed. Torrey Smith also plays bigger than his listed size. He has also put up better than average numbers year after year. I am not getting my hopes up for Harvin, I would be more than happy with Torrey Smith.

If Harvin is willing to take an one year prove it deal, I say go for it. If he wants to be paid and can get real money, let him go elsewhere.

A ton of talent, but with too many red flags to pay him top money. Can't stay on the field. A head case.

will he take one year 4 million if so then yes sign him if he wants big money then no

Maybe because there are other variables at play. And he is not even that great a playmaker these days.

Worth a shot for vet minimum.

Every time I've seen him play, I've never been impressed, plus he has character issues. I'm thinking we pass big time.
He did play big time in the biggest game of his career. Granted they didn't need it but he helped pile on top.

This offense just scored 28 points (all 4 touchdowns through the air) against one of the top 3 defenses of the last 15 years. I'm all for adding a few tweaks/pieces or shoring up the OL, but why risk a potential locker room destroyer to improve on an offense that was clearly good enough last year? There have to be safer ways to solidify this unit.

Unless they can do some salary cap acrobatics, I don't see how this helps the team win this year. The offense is fine. Keep building and bolstering the defense. That's what will bring #5.

Would be shocked if Percy Harvin agreed to any reduced deal w/NYJ. Expect NE among those interested. And I keep hearing Spiller to Jets

Don't want to pay what he may want..
First it was spikes now its this disruptive clown. why ??? harvin isn't worth the trouble he could/would cause. this team has a really good locker room atmosphere, so why would we want to poison it

ted ginn was cut and he is pretty much the same player only he may come at a better price

People counting in an offense with him + Amendola and Vereen must rethink, he would only fit here replacing one of them or both.

Let's say 5 Million make it, I think he is a better player than Vereen and Amendola but he is too injury prone. I believe BB will think a lot on the possibilities that this would open on the offense, remember he called Randy Moss on draft day. Harvin + Gurley replacing Vereen and Amendola? That's ok for me.

The key is if we get him on a reasonable, low risk deal. If that is a legitimate possibility, I'd be more than happy bringing Harvin in. I'm not concerned about locker room problems, if we can ax him should be act up. With the Patriots, Harvin could be an excellent addition to the offense.

Unlikely? Yes. At the right price? Bring him in.

I'd rather keep Amendola

Isn't Harvin supposedly injury prone as well?

Belichick wouldn't have shown interest in harvin in the past unless he got assurance from urban meyer.
