Jerry Rice Jr

I live in Northern Virginia and earlier today I was at the gym playing basketball with a friend (Nick) and some random people. My friend is a former professional Romanian basketball player who is now a personal trainer.

So we're playing and some guy goes up for a layup and Nick contests the layup fouls him. Nothing violent or too severe, just a foul so he doesn't get an easy layup. The guy starts mouthing off saying things like 'what the hell man. You trying to injure me? I'm trying to get that contract signed' and keeps going on and on over the course of the game. Finally Nick gets in his face and tells him to stfu, calls him a whiny p***y. The guy backs down doesn't say another word.

After the game another player comes up to us and says 'do you know who that was?' We're like no why? Apparently, it was Jerry Rice Jr and he plays for the Washington Redskins. Finding out this information really made my day. I've been trolling Rice about Stickum hard but now not only is he a cheater but his son is a complete loser too.

Just thought I'd share since we all dislike Mr Sticky Rice.

The closest brush with fame I've ever had on the basketball court was getting my ass kicked by the URI women's team back in 1994. I was in a shoot-around with Lamar Odom, but that ended quickly and I never spoke with him.

Apparently he's recovering from a torn labrum though he sustained the injury on August 1st. Clearly not as tough as Hightower or Earl Thomas.

He went up for a layup and stuck to the back board. Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Best of luck to him. Hope he reconsiders playing pickup games coming back from injury. If there's anything worse than an injury during practice it's an injury when you're not even on the field.
