Used to love doing this back in the day along with Box o' Rocks. I'll try and get involved next year.

I thank you for the format. It's here for you take over whenever you wish.

I wouldn't say it belonged to anyone as such. We simply had an idea. I'm just happy that we still do this kind of thing.

Chung played really well last year and signed a new contract with the team..

BB has drafted Tavon Wilson and Duron Harmon the past few years. I wonder why they would be looking at another SS.

I'd rather use our 1st rounder else where.

They always look at players they think could fall. Nothing more to it than that I suspect.

I like some of the Offensive and Defensive Lineman as well as Linebackers on the list. I think most Patriot Fans wouldn't be too upset with those positions being targeted early and often in this draft.

I like Hau'oli Kikaha.

He won't be a top draft pick because he lacks elite athleticism. He has a great motor, technique, and instincts to sack the QB.

As a Rookie he could be valuable as a 3rd down pass rusher, and someone who goes in on obvious passing situations. He would provide depth if Chandler/Ninkovich get injured, and possibly take over when Ninkovich (age 31) retires or declines.

I think it's hard to find good DT's outside of the 1st-2nd rd. Good Guards can be found in the mid to later rounds, so I'd be a bit disappointed if we take OL in rd 1.

What if there was a guard that you really liked better than anyone else at that position, would you consider him with with our 1st round pick considering it is a need or do you not see value in picking a guard there?

Tough call for me because I really hope we can go into next season with an upgrade on the inside of our interior o-line. I hear what you are saying but if someone like Cam Erving is still there, I would think we might have to really consider picking him.

From Tony Pauline:

Once the group workout was complete, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick worked out defensive linemen Angelo Blackson and Gabe Wright. Keep an eye on Blackson, who ran in the low 4.9-second range today after timing a hand-held best of 4.98 seconds at the combine. He's a large (6-4.5, 318) athletic tackle who really doesn't get the credit he deserves in part due to the way Auburn used its linemen.

I'm told the Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots have shown great interest in Grant, who has sealed himself as a late-round pick.

The Patriots have also shown a lot of interest in Auburn's "other" running back, Cameron Artis-Payne. The fast-rising ball-carrier stood on his 40 time from the combine but ran the shuttle and 3-cone today (still awaiting times). During drills, he was quick-footed and caught the ball exceptionally well. Expect Artis-Payne to solidify himself as a top-100 pick.
