Response to Virginia Gazette article

The article also says, "Two weeks before the 2014 Super Bowl, half of American sports fans said they believed God or some supernatural force plays a big part in games."
Not trying to start a religious debate but IMO 12% is surprisingly high.

The world is flat in Virginia and an oyster in DC.

It's just how warped your perspective is, right Mr. Kensil?

And those wimps in Va. should know that even though there has been a lot of snow this winter, we are functioning rather well, and didn't have to shut down our city over 5 inches of snow. BTW- the writer of that note should remember about using God's name in vain.

I moved to central VA from the east coast of Canada about 15 years ago. The first time school was cancelled for 3 days from 3" of snow, I could not believe it!!!

(btw, its usually not the snow here that cancels school, its the ice!)

Ummmmmm............. ORRRRRRRRRR...... as other might choose to look at it -- God is just continuing to rain down confetti on the good citzens of New England in his profound joy at the Patriots winning the super bowl.

Errrr.... Why not? It makes about as much sense as this A-holes opinion.....

I don't believe in God, but if that's all he asks it's trade I'd be willing to make every February. :)
Same here, the SB win is the only thing keeping me warm during this goddamn Snowmageddon, although today was very nice in comparison to our weather lately

We got 6 inches of snow last Monday here in Northern Virginia and my kids didn't go to school all week, they even have a two hour delay this morning in "case" the roads were icy when we woke up.......This area is quite a bit different from where I grew up in NH!

I love snow so between the epic super bowl win and epic stretch of winter its been a win win for me.

You must be a weather nut like me! I love every forecast of an impending BLIZZARD! I get psyched...but so does every weather-nut!

Now, I'd be fine if it all stopped moving forward. But if we get another one, it won't bother me unless I'm traveling.

God's a bandwagon 12ther?! Very disappointing
