The 2015 NFL Combine Thread

@JuMosq: Hope Ray can run the 40 at his pro day. No 1st round edge this decade has been drafted injured.

Ellis McCarthy 5.23 40, 1.82 10 split at 6'5" 338#. Has played DT and DE for UCLA. A guy I'm very interested in late day 2/early day 3. Ochmed loves him.

Diggy up. 4.64 40, 1.63 10 split. Impressive.

@JoshNorris: #UCLA EDGE Owamagbe Odighizuwa 1st forty: 4.64, 10 yd of 1.63

binkkkkkyyy#3

Jordan Phillips: 5.20 40, 1.84 10-split at 6'5" 329#. About the same as Ellis McCarthy, but not in the Dontari Poe class athletically.

I didn't want him to run that fast. Gone before 32??

Maybe. But some good players should be available in the late part of the 1st round. Cam Erving, Todd Gurley, Diggy. Maybe Eddie Goldman. All would be nice fits.

Bobby Richardson is a good player.

Danny Shelton: 5.66 40, 1.88 10 split. Slow as molasses. Makes Louis Nix look fast.

I just don't see the Haloti Ngata comparisons. Never did.

Belichick, Caserio and Lombardi didn't stick around the combine for DL, LBs and DBs. At Indianapolis airport right now.

The big guys have left the building. They probably need all the time they can get for ironing out contracts for the free agents that we have.

A couple of interesting 10 yard splits:

Dean Simon, Northwestern St. 321lbs - 1.78
David Parry, Stanford, 308lbs - 1.76

Those are fast for that size.

Beasley 41" vert and 10'10" broad. His broad is the 2nd highest ever for a DE and joint 6th highest for a LB.

He's Cameron Wake.

That's surprising. Maybe de and lb and db aren't as important this year? What if Revis and McCourty leave?

Mario Edwards with a 4.79 40 and 1.72 10-split. Not bad. He's much lighter than I had expected, at 279#.
Edwards has 1st rd measurables. The problem is his game tape and lack of effort.

Odighizuwa and Ziggy Ansah separated by .01 of a second in the forty and both with 1.62 10 yard splits.

And Shelton has suddenly fallen on some of the teams that have a hard on for 40 time.

@MoveTheSticks: Owa Odighizuwa having a nice day. Ran fast and jumped 39 & 10'7

Drool....trade up
